A psychology student wouldn't have been able to help Lizzie. A person who worked in the field of psychology for 50 years couldn't have help Lizzie without medication. Lizzie acted the way she did because of distorted beliefs and delusions, most likely schizophrenia. She wasn't acting out because of trauma, emotional or behavioral issues. Her mind was wired differently and she would have only gotten worse. Especially living in such an unpredictable environment and no set routines. If she was like she was due to trauma or emotional issues the psychology student would be wonderful for her, they always want to fix you somehow and are still willing to try to find the source.

Okay, the Morgan hateration going on in these comments crazy...To set the complete picture: beween EVERYONE in OGsurvival group and Alexandria... Technically speaking,Morgan owes the least to either group. That being said, There's hardly a character that gets serious screentime that HASN'T killed someone by way of poor decisions coming back to bite everyone later...Carl with that walker stuck in the mud:Dale/unselfish counsel.Rick:letting the governor live and stepping back from leadership: Carol anxiously killed Karen and the Governor spun the block and destroyed the prison.Carol+Tyrese: Knowing that Lizzy sees things in a distorted way and not focusing on making sure she truly understands reality and leaving her unattended: Mica gets killed and Lizzy has to be put down. Tyrese not killing cannibal dude in shack/Glenn+Abraham talking Rick out of spinning the block on Terminus: Bob becomes a campfire snack. Tyrese+Sasha+Daryl push Rick to negotiate with Dawn instead of popping off to let her know who she's dealing with even though Noah and the hostages tell them how she and it is: Rick and not Ricktator shows up to the meeting Beth gets killed and Dawn dies like she could've as a first option all along. Noah insists on going into his obviously overrun community:Tyrese bit by twin.Glenn giving Deanna's son and his sidekick chance after chance: Tara is injured/Deanna's son dies/Noah dies/and the sidekick spins the block trying to get HIM.Gabriel losing his mind and scapegoats OGsurvival group as a danger to Alexandria: Sows discord between OGsurvival and Alexandria/ makes Sasha's mental break worse/ leaves gate open; basically becoming the very danger he accused the group of being.Aaron with detailed pictures and a map of Alexandria in his bag: wolves know exactly where and how to pull up, and do... Alexandria as a community living in distorted normalcy and wanting OGsurvival to assimilate instead of learning from them: wolves cut through Alexandria like a hot knife through butter...Just saying, a lot leads up to this episode and Morgan in mercy mode is literally background noise as far as the blame game of 'how did we get here?'

The dialogue between them gave that it was an old injury like a torn rotator cuff most likely pre zombies.They can heal but it's never gonna do what it was meant to at 100%, thus she told him to lift his arm a certain way randomly when she was 'defending' Rick killing Pete, she knew he couldn't and why but he was mad anyway because them all getting hit by Pete was their 'normal' even pre zombies.

I'll say it on your behalf... Alexandria as a community is tapped. Holding on to a distorted version of normal so tight that even with 20ft walls, a a lookout with a sniper rifle on duty, and a cache of guns you're STILL helpless... 2 years into the zombie apocalypse?... Yeah tapped. And knowing that the abuse and Ron's injury happened pre zombies and had started back up post zombies dashed any empathy to be had for Jessie for me, and I'm here to tell you it's okay if it was like that for you too. It's one thing to resign herself to the fact that it's gonna happen(off and on or consistently) until he eventually kills HER...But the KIDS??? Nope. And the fact that she allowed that to become anything resembling 'normal' for them in the first place...Between the community and their parents, those boys need just as much babysitting as Judith if not more.I could let the bad decisions made regarding leaving Pete go if the boys weren't so helpless... they're literally dead weight and I know that seems harsh but if Lizzy had to go, we gotta call it like it is with these two as well.

carol coming through AGAIN to save the group. she’s really the GOAT. yes everyone contributed but she did the most work and secured the armory. also the red A reminded her of terminus (our group was in the A trailer if you remember or group A) and that’s when she went on her first mass killing spree. yes morgan was right about ONE thing, obviously she doesn’t like it, she’s not a psychopath, but she knows what needs to be done so her and her group stay alive. i’ve always liked morgan but he was pissing me off sooooo bad. he keeps saying life is precious, therefore he’s willing to let a bunch of people die to avoid killing a few? it’s not logical. if he can’t kill anyone then he shouldn’t be around people, end of story. him not killing the original two guys, then that small group and one of them took a gun like WHAT smh making things 10x worse.

This was a good episode! Thank you for the reaction. The Wolves are evil personified. Just attacking random people, killing and hacking them just because they live in "peace" and for what??? Pure evil, and I felt disgusted watching them enact that massacre. Eugene was pissing me off doubting and throwing shade at Denise. Like PLEASE stfu!!!! I felt sorry for Denise after losing her first patient, but it's a learning curve. I'm sure she'll save many more lives. Carol is once again the star of this show, quick on her feet and ready to get active at a moments notice. Love her! I don't understand how you guys would blame Jessie for the abuse she and her children went through at the hands of Pete. I'd never presume to understand what goes through the mind of a woman actively going through abuse, ESPECIALLY living through a horrific and literally life changing event such as this apocalypse. I'd place more of the onus on the Alexandria community for not speaking out and stepping in to help her... Seeing Deanna in such a broken, low state is so saddening because she's a phenomenal woman who is an actual asset. I need her to get back up ASAP!!!

Took me literally the 3rd rewatch of the show to even be willing to analyze his perspective and situation fairly...He and his brother are basically the products of most of the adults in their lives failing them...Dad who beats them and their mom, mom who makes excuses and stays, which without words or intentions tells him it's their normal.Alexandria as a community not even attempting to adapt to be fit in the world as it is post zombie apocalypse,or stepping in to stop the abuse in lieu of Pete's status only reinforced said normal for him...And then you have Rick who shows up and is so much more of everything his dad isn't,and the proof that Rick indeed does know better,Carl being everything Ron himself is not... Including being relatable to Enid...Yeah, the poor kid basically had a series of hard lessons he needed to be taught, without the maturity level or concept of needing such a thing to handle it...

Morgan should have killed those wolves when they 1st came at him and tried to kill him. It would have saved a lot of deaths. Deanna should have let her people learned how to use gun and carry guns inside the wall to protect themselves and the community. There wouldn't have been that many deaths. Morgan got on my nerves this episode. He let those people go Again. And he should know they'll come back because he told Rick they always come back either dead or alive. Okay, so the problem I continue to have with Jessie's boys is normal never got interrupted for them to the significant extent of them KNOWING how things are now...And that's partly Deanna's, Partly Pete's fault,a dash of it is Alexandria's (as a community)fault but mostly Jessie's fault, for multiple reasons. Rick and everything connected to him get to be the scapegoats for his trauma because staying with a man that had it in him to go as far as almost crippling his own kid was a decision Jessie made and a normal she and Pete introduced to them, then Alexandria as a community living like nothing ever happened kept that normal alive...Even post apocalypse...That being said you throw Carol and Carl into the mix when it comes to them and it's doomed to go left. Carol who has lost 3 children at this point for being at the opposite ends of the spectrum trying to save SOMEBODY that could maybe replace Sophia: with Sophia she didn't teach her more than stay close and run i.e. just a fear most kids would naturally have of 'monsters' with the expectation of an adult saving them every time. Lizzy and Mica: Don't be scared, but understand that walkers are dangerous and you've gotta fight and kill them period, screw your feelings, eventually you'll just see how I say is the way. With Jessie's youngest, she was just over all children who weren't Carl or Judith because she saw immediately what even Rick couldn't. I mean they were still swapping recipes and cooking for taste and not rationing for nutrition or survival 2 years into the zombie apocalypse...waking up out of that mode and adapting to be fit to survive was never gonna happen for the majority of Alexandria as a settlement until something as drastic as this episode did. With Ron, his problem besides all the adults before and after the apocalypse failing him, is the timing of these hard lessons: you got Rick breaking up his normal and family (when's the last time a complete nucleus family were all alive at once before Alexandria?) and Carl being basically everything he's not (able to actually fend for himself and even others). Morgan is a character I feel nobody gets until you see HIS story...In truth, he's up there with Michonne,Rick, Carol, and Daryl for me.

Morgan got a lot of flack in this episode he's on his spiritual journey right now but I was upset with him letting them five go because they can come back at any time and Rick was telling them they need people watching at all times Spencer was sorry I don't even know why he was on watch. Just Survive Somehow. Reminding herself that whatever she's doing. Hiding behind the sign and staying quiet. Stealing the jacket off the zombies because she needs to stay warm. Killing and eating a raw turtle. Taking the home and community to stay safe (for now). Escapes the community as it starts to seem like it's gonna crash and burn. She's a survivor. She's gonna do whatever it takes and leave whoever behind to stay alive... I don't think it was a life-long injury that Ron had. I think it was indicating that he just got beatdown by his father very recently, so he's probably bruised up under all of his clothes and in too much pain and too sore to raise his arm...

Carol is mean to the lil boy because her heart can’t handle getting close to another child and losing him. It seems super harsh to us outside looking in, but it’s just another survival method. She can’t help take care of the group if she loses herself in grief.

Glenn has never killed anyone up to this point. He's the only one in our group who hasn't killed anyone, directly or indirectly. So him killing anyone at this point would be a big deal for him.
