Literally wanted to learn everything someone could possibly know and learn about anything, and some things he had to learn from death itself, part of his moniker “The All-Father”. All knowing, All seeing, All powerful, top of the top, god of gods in Norse Myth. The earth (or Midgard) was originally a giant named Ymir, and Odin killed him and carved the realm of Midgard out of his body. The stories get WILD the more and more you look into it.
