I'm not sure she's manipulating him because everything has been his choice, and she has been trying to protect him from the situation by running away. she even said 'i don't need a prince charming (Referring to him), what i need is a headsman that will join me in the sword dance.' obviously, this was her way of rejecting love/romance from him because as we all know, she doesn't want to be carried away and forget her rage towards the bullies. he moved to semyeong where she lives, bought the building, and planned to open a practice there as he explained to his mum. she came over to the practice knowing he's moved his whole life for her, and i think it was the perfect time to let him know everything because he can't devote his whole life to her knowing nothing. he deserved the truth, she might have been manipulative telling him, but every choice he made was a conscious decision with little to no influence from her manipulations. he's a doctor, he's not dumb. he just loves her and sympathises with her pain which is why he decided to join her on the revenge, because she explained to him that she's not planning on being a better person than the bullies and giving up on the revenge. all your points were valid though, i just agree with Akeem and Pelumi more.
