Iβm going to assume when the brother sat down after the female lead said she was born the year of the snake (a chinese zodiac sign) is because she was telling him she was older than him and should show respect towards her as pretty much being hierarchy in age and his elder? The younger brother said he was born in 1993 as if he had more experience and hierarchy than the female lead. And the closest year to 1993 that comes before the year 1993 and that would be the year of the snake would be 1989? Making her like 4yrs older than him if she was born that year. Because the year of the snake before 1989 would be 1977. But she doesnβt look like she would be in her 40βs. So i want to assume she was born in 1989. So essentially i assume she was telling him to watch his mouth around when speaking to and out of line around those who are older than him. This is just my guess.
