The Lost Boy has been away from home for so long that when Ranma shows up in disguise and calls herself "Yoiko Hibiki", Ryoga believes this to be his genuine family- family that he somehow forgot about. Sheesh! O.O
Throughout their time together, Yoiko is inseparable from her "sibling", foiling any attempts Ryoga makes at wooing Akane. At one point, Yoiko even strikes Ryoga in a fit of jealousy for caring more about Akane than her! But is Yoiko really trying to protect Akane from a smitten Ryoga... or trying to keep her new "Big Bro" all to herself? ;)
