Comic Art Update

Hey Patrons,

As no doubt some of you have guessed from the lack of recent updates, we're experiencing production delays.

Our comic content partners have informed us that their big project, Amazon (which has been in active release over at Ranmabooks.com), is delayed so that it can be reworked and expanded to achieve a satisfying conclusion for the chapter.

This has a direct impact on our Patreon's release schedule. With the team unavailable to finish "Mirror Madness", we're forced to put that planned Patreon content on hold this month. Worse, I need a different art team to make new content, so putting up a Patreon Poll for art we aren't sure can be made anytime soon doesn't make sense either. So, I'm afraid the November poll must be cancelled. O.O

Given that it's already late November, I'm not optimistic about our ability to create a quality Patreon Exclusive in 10 days. Yes, we can definitely make some art, but it probably won't meet the standards that our Patreon community has come to expect.

For this reason, I'm reaching out to an old friend for some help creating pinups for Patreon. This is the same artist responsible for creating our recently remastered update with Shampoo and Mousse. I have every confidence we'll be able to meet the standard our patrons expect, but it's going to take time we don't have remaining this month. The soonest we can complete a new pinup of quality is early December.

Therefore, for the rest of November, we have no choice but to post classic art.

We know that many of our patrons support the remastering mission, but the real treat is the Exclusive Content of which there is precious little. We know that and we're beyond grateful for those who support us just for those nuggets. That is why, in order to make up for these delays, the plan will be to post multiple Patreon Exclusives in December. Our tentative goal will be 3 pinups, one extra as apology for the delays. Polls will return as soon as the main team completes Amazon.

Thanks for the Patreon community's patience and understanding. We'll be working hard to overcome these production challenges swiftly, but be assured that we'll not half-ass anything. This community deserves our best, and we shall deliver this December.

-Deep Star
