General Update ~ May 2024

Hi homies,

I'm just letting you know what's up:

Finishing touches for Swords: Cut the Deck
We're waiting on our dice proofs so we can sign off on them and get everything wrapped! I've been finishing the last few pieces of art and have some friends proof-reading all the cards. I intend to create some PDF modules for Patrons after the game starts shipping.

The next thing
I don't have a current plan for the next big project. I've been tinkering away on a few things but am mostly just concerned with shipping the card game before doing anything else.

Patron Swor'nament Part II
I've mostly been focusing on Harpe and Joy lately, because a lot of feedback from the survey last year was that lore was being neglected in favour of comedy (Swords is a comedy series btw??). We are currently on Episode 840; and after 850 I will endeavour to finish the Patron Swor'nament Arc we started last year. After my birthday.

My birthday is on May 16th
I have no plans. Maybe I'll eat a nice burger.

I just wanna thank you guys for supporting me - things are tight at the moment and you're my rock. I know I don't say it enough.

Stuff I'm watching, reading, playing
I'm currently rewatching BBC Merlin (just finished Season 3); watching Star Trek Discovery and Dungeon Meshi as they come out (but I'm a few behind, no spoilers please); and keeping current with the One Piece manga. I'll probably watch the new Doctor Who, but I fell off mid-Capaldi era and have only tuned in for bits and pieces since then. I should really play the new Final Fantasy 7 instalment - somehow I've managed to avoid spoilers...
