Patreon is migrating away from monthly billing

I'm sure you've heard that Patreon is changing up its billing!
Here's what you need to know:
I will be switching over early, in the last week of August, to start taking advantage of some other features. If you're already a patron, nothing will change.
If you pay for your Patreon subscriptions through an Apple account, please take a moment to consider adjusting your membership. After this change, Apple will be charging an additional fee on any new signups - so if you were considering joining Sticker Club, you should do it now!
New stickers have arrived and I will be sending out the next batch at the end of the month. I'll be sending out a new Google Form to get everyone's up-to-date addresses again soon.
If you aren't a paying member, I've reopened the $1/month Sprout Scout tier from now until the end of August when I make the switch. Use the 10% annual discount and you can get your membership down to 90 cents a month, all while avoiding the new Apple fee. It's the cheapest I can possibly go, and it's the last time you'll be able to get it that low if you're paying from an Apple device.
In other news, I have the house to myself for the last week of August so its CRUNCH WEEK, where I'll be staying up late to finish a bunch of side projects. If you need something, it's a good time to get in touch! You can email me at swordscomic@gmail.com if you need anything.

2024-08-13 21:28:11 +0000 UTCUgh. All my subscriptions go in the first except 1, and I hate it. Patreon must have signed an agreement with credit card companies or extra transaction fees would eat into profits.

2024-08-13 17:58:30 +0000 UTCThey've been doing that to me with random people I follow on Patreon forever, I hate it... so... I geuss no real change? The Bad change is that if you pay through the app using Apple is that 30% charge Apple is tacking on, so, glad I'm on desktop.

2024-08-13 12:26:20 +0000 UTCInstead of charging users on the first day of the month, users will start getting charged on the day of the month they signed up. If you're already subscribed, you won't be affected by this change and will continue to be charged on the 1st as normal.
