Swords reached episode CM!

Sadly, we didn't win at the Pav Awards. Being a finalist is still a great effort though!
Congratulations to Storm Raiders for their well-earned trophy!

I'll use this as motivation to get back to working hard and making cool things worthy of praise.

I've been working on some Fake Game Art for my real Portfolio - I figure some 2D platformer/RPG concept art will lead me closer to working on the kinds of projects I'm most interested in.

I need to put up a page of Rates, but I need to decide what that looks like too. I'm thinking something along the lines of:
Branded guest comic of Swords
Steam Logo/Capsule Art kit
And maybe just... leave it at that?

If you have any feedback about my portfolio as it currently stands, I'd love to hear it.

Despite the hunt for work, I've been giving myself permission lately to turn down more opportunities that I think will take too much time away from Swords.

Other stuff:

• The Quest Sprout Drawing Contest is now underway! Win my very last Quest Sprout Vinyl Figure! Ever??

• The Quest Sprout hoodie is now available for a limited time!

• The American Cut the Deck team just passed a milestone of 1000 shipping tickets printed! That's some solid progress!

• Swords Season 1 is now available in Chronological Order on Webtoon and the main website! If you are a patron from all the way back in 2018, the border of your episode has been updated to reflect its Patron status and they have been grouped together to reduce chronological time-madness.

• If someone would like the official job of translating Season 1 (1-200) into German, I would like to know how much it would cost me

• Patreon sent me a copy of their State of Create report and it was a nice little read. I'm going to think hard about how I can form stronger bonds with you all and waste less time on oppressive places that have abandoned me for short form video. I want to talk about the future more, because for me, I don't know what Swords looks like when it reaches Year 10 - but I need to do it in a way where I'm not making promises I can't live up to.

• Interestingly, I recently found out that Reddit have me on their shortlist of Webcomic Artists they use for various case studies... whatever that means... Maybe I need to be on my best behaviour going forward...

I've just been watching more of the original run of Pokemon. Pikachu has so much SOUL in the early episodes! I really appreciate how cute he is much more now.

What does Year 10 of Swords look like to you? Do we get to Swords MD? Is Quest Sprout replaced by a robot? Do I have a Movie Trilogy deal by then? Let me know in the comments below.
