A cat with a fire affinity, perhaps with two tails like Kirara from Inuyasha, a Nekomata, with the energy of an orange tabby cat and a personality that somewhat mirrors Xiao Fan, may eventually help with alchemy and pest control on the farm, maybe even learning the scorching purge spell?

A rat would be funny, as in a lab rat. I am favouring the crow. 2026-03-16 11:23:40 +0000 UTCa small monkey. I see birds, wolves, and foxes far too often in xianxia. Cat's as well. Occasionally there will be a gorilla, a rat, or a gu of some kind. But the only tiny monkey's that I see in story's usually mock the protagonist before inevitably dying.
