I just want to bring everyone’s attention to the fact that I have noticed the exclusive content that I make on Patreon being leaked to hundreds of people who are not a part of this community. This deeply saddens me and I understand that this may be inevitable for most creators, but I at least want to share my thoughts and feelings about it. I get super excited each month to create content for those of you who love me and my content and want to go the extra mile to support me on this other platform. Patreon has become one of my main streams of revenue and each month I am losing money because a couple of you continue to leak my content. Putting the money part aside because that part truly doesn’t matter as much, but there is a group of people (discord, Reddit, etc.) who continue to harass me and talk about me and other asmrtists in the most vile and weirdly sexual ways I have ever seen or read. This has deeply disturbed me and I did not consent to any of this being said about me and especially not about anyone else. I am just a person and I started making asmr to help you all sleep and relax because asmr has truly saved me from so much hardship in my life and I wanted to give back to the community. Seeing these things said about me without my consent has made me want to stop creating content. As I have said multiple times, my content is not sexual and it will never ever be sexual so please don’t watch my content if you think of it as sexual. Creating asmr is one of my biggest passions in life and I have seen all the good I have done. I don’t want these few sick individuals to ruin something that I have loved more than most things in my life. If you are reading this and you are a part of this harmful community please consider leaving it and stop leaking my content. Please try to think of me as a real person with thoughts and feelings like all of you and not just someone that you watch on your screen. Before you post, think that I will see it and imagine how I will feel about what you post. If I figure out anyone who has been a part of this I will block you from this Patreon and you will not be permitted to rejoin ever again. Thank you to those of you who watch me and my content for relaxation and those of you who have continued to support me throughout the years.

That's Sad. I have been a listener of yours for over 2 years now and i've never had a patreon but your work has helped me a lot destress and relax. I hate that it's something you deal with and have heard it's common. Do what's best for you ,just know you really do help a lot of people and are deeply appreciated for the quality of work you create to many. You are appreciated.

2024-10-18 07:29:56 +0000 UTCIt's unfortunate that your exclusive asmr content got leaked. Other asmrtists had the same problem, so i suppose it was just a matter of time. I wouldn't worry about what weird people talk about, because there are always going to be unhinged people to various degrees, that talk to eachother. 🤷 I'd recommend not allowing their disfunctional behavior spoil your happiness in life making asmr. (one does not have control over other people's actions, but one does have control over their own actions) Just remember whats shared on the internet basically stays on the internet, even if its deleted on your side. So just keep it non sexual and you'll avoid most of the unhinged ones. Also there will always be people out there who are willing to show their appreciation for your asmr. (irregardless of any leaked content)

2024-10-08 05:44:08 +0000 UTCI am incredibly sorry that you gotta deal with this type of stuff, whether it be because of the leaks or the redditors, its sickening to know that goes on in the internet and especially to content creators who are not even part of that, you are extremely talented and its a joy to see every time you post on here or youtube, I would definitely recommend making the patreon uploads only to patreon and not on Youtube, Emma’s Myspace does that with her patreon and im not sure how she does it but i assume it has more prevention to get easily leaked, I know its such a horrible experience seeing that for yourself but I hope it doesn’t make you actually stop, you are great at what you do and your passion can be felt through your videos, they have helped me a lot as well as to other people, sending love, let us know if we can help in any way Jules ❤️

At least on Reddit there’s some level of control. But Discord, Telegram, etc., are a whole other world. Reading about how you’ve considered stopping your content creation seems totally understandable. Processing and accepting such an ugly side of being online must be really difficult. I just want to say thank you for being there and making my study and work sessions more bearable, I didn’t feel so alone. You’re the best of the best, Jules!

You totally have every right to feel the way you do, especially when there are people out there that just don't care to try and be the best person they can be and treat people with respect. I hope these people can learn to feel some shame for what they are doing, and realise that you have a right to feel safe and happy, as I'm sure they would like that for themselves and the people they care about. It would be a loss for the ASMR community if you stopped making content, but you should do whatever you need to. 💚

It's a shame that it's making you think about stopping, but honestly it's worth thinking about what makes you feel comfortable and happy. As others have said, most of the major sites take stolen content seriously and should act on a request. Hopefully a copyright strike might convince the weirdos to leave you alone.

I am so sorry about that. yeah it's unfortunately something that commonly happens. like Rich mentioned, I think there are ways to report these people on those platforms and to get your content taken down on those sites. please don't think about giving up with making content. don't let negative people try to take you down and keep you from following your passion. if you need help, there are probably other content creators you could reach out to that have had similar issues with this. but don't worry. everything will work out. keep your head up and continue making content and following your dreams. you're doing a great job 💚💚

This invites in a whole mess of weirdos that inevitably find their way to the wholesome creators. It's sad, but don't limit your blame to the weirdos because there's no limit to blame. It's their fault and the creators making weird, intimate, romantic and sexual content, too.

Could also do some YouTube membership shenanigans with vids or something. I know those aren’t viewable unless you subscribed even if you have a link.
