This is the 2nd game I've published on Steam, which continues to be a bit of a challenge, so forgive me for all the updates about it. A Steam launch is more complicated than publishing on Patreon or itch.io, so I really appreciate your help with getting wishlists & reviews.
A Key for Every Supporter
I’ll send a free Steam key for the full game to all Patreon supporters who request one ("get the game" tier minimum).
To get your key, simply send me a private message on Patreon with the words "MADDIE GOES SHOPPING KEY" in your message. I'll send it over as quickly as I can.
Once you receive your key, you can redeem it on Steam to add the game to your library. The Steam version is very similar to the one you know, with only a few small changes to comply with Steam's guidelines (e.g., all links to other stores have been removed).
Two other simple ways to help
Wishlist the Game: This is the most important thing you can do! Wishlists tell Steam's algorithm that people are excited about the game, which helps more people discover it on launch day. It only takes a second.
Write a Review: Once the game is live and you've had a chance to play it, please consider writing a positive review on the store page. Positive reviews are extremely useful for new players and are a huge help for indie developers like me.
I'll be working to get the other games on Steam as soon as possible, and I'll be offering keys to my patrons for those as well.
