From hiding everything to showing it all off
Added 2024-09-15 18:41:09 +0000 UTCThis week I have been working on making sure there is some decent progression to Sammy reaching full exhibitionist. The early stages will have Sammy refuse go out if she has any privates showing or if someone steals her clothes. It will trigger events where she hides somewhere and the player is forced to scav up something for her to wear.
As time passes, she will become a little more adjusted to it (it does seem to keep happening). Making her go out into public will then trigger different flavours of ENF events. In the beginning it will be almost entirely embarrassed and not much in the way of having fun, but again it will keep happening. From there she will start to enjoy it, even while being embarrassed/terrified.
As things progress more, her enjoyment of it will start to outweigh her fear and she will actively put herself in such situations.
Here is where it might end depending on perks. I think I will make some perks such as bambi keep Sammy at the very E part of ENF. While those with perks such as Slut will progress past it to putting themselves into situations where they know they will get caught such as hanging around in the park mens toilets and waiting. This will be a much more active choice though. There will be a new button on the action bar for Sammy do go off somewhere naked and wait to get caught.
Also new backgrounds for the walking paths from the park to the school or lake. While logic would suggest such paths should be dangerous due to their isolated nature, I have decided for gameplay reasons to have them as the opposite. A safe alternative to the bus at the cost of time and being able to travel around town while possibly naked and get to a wardrobe to put something on.

Encounters with "bad people" at night or certain isolated areas should have frequency increased by at least 15% and , although I dislike RA_E in any shape or form, it should be a real danger that you really should try to avoid. Like long lasting injuries, mental and physical, that the institute may have to help you resolve. "shrug" dunno .Oh, good job btw, Sam Tail:}

I've been drunk and wasted going home at 3 am and on the rare encounter of someone try to grab me I'm able to fight them off. The world just isn't as threatening as the story suggests and once you reach a certain fitness level your immune to what little there is.

2024-09-16 08:25:37 +0000 UTCstill liking the way this game is going an the amount of work you have put into it. some of the peoples here have had some pretty good ideas. So with that said I do agree with Xlavs I think that would work. Fourth wall is good for getting players more involved in game.

2024-09-15 19:49:35 +0000 UTCIt could be fun if her progression wasn't completely linear from a shy girl towards a complete exibitionist since it somewhat kills a fun during a late game. I would love if she had a bit more "moody swings" between feeling completely adventurous to going back to the "little insecure girl". I woudn't mind a few events that "break a fourth wall" as well when she is adressing the player choices that are not in line with her current mood.
