It was an awkward drive to school for Lucius, Aunty Carey was talking nonstop about how good this school was, how Lucius would have fun, make friends, and maybe even join some clubs, but Lucius was ignoring her.
His focus was more on pushing down his embarrassment and trying to come up with a plan to ask for help getting out of this horrible situation. Suddenly the case stopped. Lucius snapped out of it. “Why did we suddenly stop?”
Carey points out the window. “We’ll we’re here this is your stop.” Lucius looks out the window and sees there is indeed a school. “Onnanoko High?” Lucius looked around. Everyone walking into the school was dressed just like her.
Everyone was in a schoolgirl uniform, not a single boy wearing a boy uniform. The only men around seemed to be a couple of teachers. “A lot of girls go to this school.” Carey chuckled. “Well, that’s how all-girl schools work. The last thing we need is for you to flirt with some boys.”
Carey laughed and then winked at Lucius, who just looked blankly at her. Carey then reached into the back seat and grabbed a backpack. “Here you go, everything you need is inside here, including a nice lunch made by Aunty Lauren.”
Carey pushed the bag into Lucius' arms. “Now go ahead now before you're late. Or worse…” Carey smiled as she pulled the remote out of her pocket. “Rig… right…” Lucius opened the car door, hopped out of the car, and flung the bag over his shoulders.
He then closed the door and looked at the school. Carey then rolled down the car window. “Don’t worry Lucy. The principal is waiting for you. She will help you get settled in.” Lucius looked back at Carey and nodded.
However, that only made her worry more. Lucius then started walking towards the school. Once she stepped inside the school, she heard someone call her name. “Lucina! Over here.” Lucius turned and saw an older woman standing by a door waving towards him.
Lucius walked over to her. “Good morning, please follow me to my office.” Lucius nodded and followed behind her. Once they were inside, the principal pointed at a chair. “Go ahead and take a seat.”
Lucius pulled out a chair and sat down. The principal then sat at her desk and pulled out a folder. “Alright, so first off, I’d like to welcome you to our school! We’re super glad to have you, and I hope you can learn a lot while you’re here.”
She opened the folder. “I’m the principal here, my name is Mila Peol, but you can just call me Ms. Peol.” Lucius nodded. “Okay… Ms. Peol… I need to talk to you about something…” Ms. People waved her hand.
“In a moment, first I need to give you your schedule, and a map of the school so you don’t get lost.” Ms. Peol pulls two pieces of paper out. She then leaned forward and placed them on the desk in front of Lucius.
Lucius leaned forward and grabbed them. The first paper was indeed a small map, which was very detailed. The second paper was her weekly class schedule. “Your homeroom class will be starting soon in class 304.”
Ms. Peol looked through a few more papers and pulled out another one. “Here this paper has your normal and gym lockers, and their combinations to unlock them.” She then slides that over to Lucius, who grabs it and adds it to her pile.
“Ms. Peol… I really need to tell you.” She cut him off. “Your Aunt… Carey, I believe… She already got us your measurements, so your gym and swimsuit are already in your locker so no need to worry. Everything is all taken care of.”
Lucius was a bit annoyed… “That’s not what…” Ms. Peol cut him again. “Now you should get going, you don’t want to be late for your first class.” Lucius sighed and stood up. Clearly, the principal was going to listen to him, and at this point if she did, would she even believe him?
“Thank you.” Lucius said before turning around and walking towards the door. “Oh, Lucy one more thing.” Lucius had the door handle in his hand and turned to look at the principal. “Yes, ma'am?” Lucius watched her smile.
“I’ve been informed about your situation. Now I will admit while at school we don’t allow the type of punishment your aunts and mother have been using to discipline you, but I assure you, if you act or or misbehave, high schoolers are vicious, and I will find ways to humiliate you.”
Lucius gulped. Lucius had no idea if she was in on this whole thing, or if Carey made up some story about him being bad. “So you’ll be good, correct?” Lucius nodded. “Yes, ma'am.” That made Ms. Peol smile.
“Good to hear. Now go ahead and get to class.” Lucius turned back and opened the door and walked out. She then pulled out the paper with her locker number and code. “Locker 27 and coded 3, 31, 4.” Lucius walked to the main lobby, she then found her locker and tossed her bag inside.
She then looked out the front door. There a security guard was closing the main gate. Once he finished he went and sat inside a small guard station and watched the gate. “Damn… I guess I can’t just leave…”
Lucius sighed… “Alright… Just buy your time.” Lucius opened his bag and pulled out a binder and pencil bag. Then he locked the locker up and started walking towards his class. “Let's see what classroom was it again?”
Lucius looked at the papers again. “304 and it’s on the first floor.” Lucius followed the map to the room and decided to peek inside before he went inside. Inside were about fifteen students. Most of them were in groups, with only a couple sitting at their desks either on the phone or doing work.
“I… I can't do this… not again… and certainly not as a girl… I have to just do it. I’m escaping.” Lucius turned around and bumped into someone. “Careful there, you could hurt someone by not looking where you're going.”
Lucius looked up at him. “Right… I’m sorry… Please excuse me.” Lucius tried to go around him and leave but he grabbed Lucius hand. “Not so fast. You’re my new student, right? Well, class is about to begin, so let's go inside and introduce you to everyone.”
