Dr. Uriah Waters is a brilliant scientist who was well known for studying and finding curses and solutions to several of the world's biggest problems, from stopping global freezing from starting another ice age to solving underpopulation by making a drug to make people more fertile.
He’s improved the world a hundredfold, and a few years ago he started on his current problem, that being cursed objects. Before news about them broke to the public, he was asked by the then-secret government facility C.O.D. to help them.
His job was to study and even discover cursed objects, which in itself was a very rare opportunity, as after news broke out about it, owning a cursed object became illegal, and studying them or messing with them intentionally was illegal.
So he was one of the only people allowed to study them, which was good, as he was probably the best person to do so. Since he started this project, he’s come in contact with more than fifty cursed items, all in a wide range of types.
Several of them even cursed him, turning him from a normal-looking man in his fifties to a very unusual-looking one of unknown age, and several people have freaked out when meeting him because of how he looks.
To be fair, his body was shrunk by one object, but not his head, so he looked a bit like a bobblehead. Another made his hair long, clear, and uncuttable. Then there was the one that gave him thick thighs and a massive ass.
He even had one object give him patches of cat fur and another that gave him dragon scales. So yeah, to say he looked strange was a bit of an understatement, but it was all worth it because of what has come from his research.
He’s the one who created the devices that can scan for cursed objects in the vicinity and the machine that does a four-dimensional scan of an object and can actually predict what would happen when it activates.
It was that first invention that led him to another discovery, one that at first didn’t seem to be connected to cursed objects but turned into a world of its own, with a world of its own problems along with it.
That new discovery was the existence of object possessions. Using his searching device, Waters discovered an ancient sword inside the ruins of an old fortress deep underground, and when he used the other machine to scan it, he got strange results.
It told him that it wouldn’t curse him, which was good, but it also said that inside it held the soul of a real person. Waters began studying the sword as a side project and before he knew it, it had become his main focus.
He ended up with a dozen soul-possessed objects and he began to build several new devices. The first was a handheld device that could detect objects possessed by souls without mixing up readings with cursed objects.
The second was a device that could allow a soul to possess a predetermined object and return it back to normal after a period of time. The best part was, unlike all the cursed and possessed objects to date, it didn’t use magic to do work, just super advanced science.
His hope was one day to get this device to pull the souls out of previously possessed objects and return those poor people to their former selves, but as of now, he believes it can only work on those who use his device to possess objects.
He planned to begin testing his device to make sure it could actually allow someone to possess an object, and of course that it would also let them out afterward. He had hired someone to be the test subject for this experiment, who was in the lab waiting.
He may have been okay with being cursed a few times with weird minor changes, but there was no way he was going to test this one on himself. If it went wrong, there was no one who could save him or continue his work.
He had the subject get up on a platform and informed him if this goes as planned, for a mere minute he would be possessing the pair of lab goggles on the table next to him. The subject looked nervous but nodded, then said he was ready.
Waters turned on the machine and once it hit full power, it fired, hitting the guy. Waters watched as the man’s body vanished and then as his soul was pulled toward the goggles. Waters was amazed and grabbed the goggles and brought them to the four-dimensional scanner.
Sure enough, it read that the subject was inside, completely unharmed, completely aware, and with all his senses still working, which must be a wild experience for him. Waters took some notes, then placed the goggles on the platform and began to fire up the machine.
The machine once again shot, hitting the goggles, and out of it came a soul. The soul's body began to appear out of nowhere and Waters was thrilled that it had worked—that was until something inside the machine malfunctioned and backfired, hitting Waters with a blast.
He was sent flying backward onto his desk containing the cursed object he was currently working on.
As the subject returned to normal, Waters’ body began to vanish, and his soul was pulled into the object he landed on, which happened to be a cursed washcloth.
Once the chaos settled down, Waters was able to get a look at the bad situation he found himself in. His subject was standing across the room in shock, and he was a limp piece of fabric on the ground, unable to move or speak but still able to use all his senses.
Waters was able to look at his machine. It looked as though it would still work, so all the subject had to do was pick Waters up and use the machine on him. It was actually a very easy thing to do; the machine would do all the work at the push of a few buttons.
Waters watched the subject, and after the subject came out of the shock, he approached Waters and went to pick him up. Waters felt relieved that the subject was smart enough to at least try bringing him back, but then Waters realized something bad.
He had possessed a cursed object, which meant when the subject picked him up, he would be cursed by the washcloth. Waters tried to yell out and warn him to use the safety equipment, but it was too late.
The subject picked Waters up, and the cursed object began to affect him. This object was a bit different than the common ones; instead of just transforming the person, it makes them use it, and as they use it, the object begins to change them.
So the subject brought Waters to the showers and he got undressed. He then turned on the shower and filled Waters with soap, which made him feel like he was being waterboarded, all while getting a mouthful of soap, and his sinuses filled with flowers.
Then the subject began to rub Waters up and down his body, and with each thing the subject washed, his body changed. Washing his chest gave him big breasts, and washing his waist made his waist slimmer.
Washing his butt and thighs made each of them thicker. Washing his face made it feminine, and finally washing his crotch made his manhood vanish and a brand-new womanhood opened up in its place.
Waters didn’t enjoy having his face rubbed against a large penis and throbbing balls, but as it was only for a few seconds, he didn’t mind it. A part of him was a bit of a perv and didn’t mind rubbing up against a female's crotch.
After the changes stopped, the subject rinsed off, squeezed Waters out, and placed him on the shower handle as she turned it off. Once Waters was out of her hands, that’s when she snapped out of the trance the cursed washcloth had put her under.
She then started to freak out and run out of the shower, leaving Waters alone and dangling. He cursed at the subject and hoped she’d come back, but after watching the sun go down and rise three times, he knew she’d abandoned him and that he was trapped as an object.
He had hoped that the cursed object department agents that he worked with closely would come to check on him and find a way to save him, but they’d been quite busy lately and might not check on him for weeks.
Even worse than that, he hadn’t been able to tell them about object possession yet, so they might come looking for him and not know what all his new equipment does or that he’s been turned into a washcloth and hung in the shower.
It was quite the predicament; Dr. Uriah Waters had no idea how he was going to solve it, but he wasn’t willing to give up. He’s solved greater problems, and hopefully, he’ll solve this one, even if it takes years.
