The Gift Of Obedience: Pt1 (TG-Queen)

Annabel was the second-born child to King Hilvister in the land of Yorhtol, and the first-born princess. Her only brother was born to take the throne, so she was born to support him and his kingdom in any way that they may require her to.

She spent her life working hard, being trained in many skills, from learning how to use many types of weapons to even learning battle tactics and how to lead an army. She was even taught the political side of things.

She was an excellent diplomat and had calmed and kept peace among many kingdoms. She ended up growing into a fine young woman with all the skills that a leader of a kingdom should have, but instead, she had them merely to help her foolish older brother.

She had always hoped to be able to actually use those skills one day when her brother found a prince or king in another kingdom who needed a wife and was willing to make some sort of deal to marry Annabel, but there was one problem with that.

It wasn’t that she wasn’t pretty enough; she was actually drop-dead gorgeous. Her long blonde hair was a favorite among the land, her chest was the perfect size, and all the men loved it. She had a decent figure, but none of them were massive or even looked out of place on her body.

In that sense she was perfect; no, the problem comes with the “gift” she was given. When she was about four years old and her older brother was seven, a traveling mage came to the kingdom and made an offering to the king.

He cast the gift of obedience spell on Annabel, which made it so whoever is considered her current ruler, she would obey them, obey their every order without question and even worse, without hesitation.

While her father was king, it wasn’t so much of a problem. He knew about it but never tried to use it, though he was still happy to have it, as it meant she’d never betray him or their kingdom, so he never tried to get it removed.

It got really annoying when her father suddenly got sick and was no longer able to handle the duties of king. That meant her brother had to take the throne and become king, which also meant now he had control of her thanks to her gift.

He took full advantage of this and made her do all kinds of things a person of her status would never do. At some points, she was basically a maid for him; not even once while she was under his control did he use her for her intellect or many, many skills in combat and diplomacy.

She used to think being controlled by him was about as bad as it was going to get for her, but she was dead wrong. Her idiot brother did something incredibly stupid: he invited kings and princes from across the land to join him in a game of cards.

Annabel spent the night serving them all while they got drunk and made advances on her and even laughed at her situation. Then when the night was about to end, her brother made that really dumb decision.

The acting king of a nearby kingdom, Prince Lukas, who was notoriously well-known for being a pervert, had asked Annabel’s brother to make a massive wager. He wanted to play for Annabel, and in exchange, he’d bet his sister.

Annabel saw her brother's face light up. He had always had a thing for the third born of the Uritom kingdom, and Annabel knew what he was thinking. If he won, he’d have a new wife and a sister who would do whatever he wanted.

To him that would be perfect, of course; he never accounted for the fact that he’d lose, which was exactly what happened. Annabel ended up being loaded into a carriage that night and brought to her new home, where to this day she’s still pissed at her brother for doing that to her.

Her gift would then activate and she would come under the control of Lukas. She had thought he was going to do very perverted things to her like he was well known for, but to her surprise, he wanted her for something else.

He knew all about her talents, the skills she spent years honing and mastering and he wanted to make use of them. That actually made Annabel excited to hear, well, at least at first. Turns out he wants to use them for revenge.

Not even the type of revenge where you want to get rid of people; no, he wanted to use her skills to get revenge on the women who rejected his inappropriate advances. He wanted to use her to embarrass them.

It was a really dumb use of her skills and the gift that made her obey him, but to be honest, she was actually debating whether or not this was better for her than when she was constantly serving her brother back home.

So that first night in her new kingdom, the temporary king had her get dressed in an incredibly beautiful and elaborate ball gown. She had tons of petticoats, a long poofy dress, and a pair of uncomfortable heels, and her hair was done up to look super pretty.

Lukas then had her accompany him to a ball being held in the neighboring kingdom. Once inside, the two began to mingle and enjoy the party. Then randomly, Lukas pulled Annabel aside to speak with her in private.

He told her their target was about to be joining the ball. Lukas pointed towards the grand staircase that came down into the ballroom. He told her that her target for tonight would be coming down those stairs.

He ordered her to go over to the stairs and wait, and when the princess came down, Annabel was to do something to embarrass her in front of the guests here at the ball. He didn’t care how she did it, but he wanted it to look like an accident.

He doesn’t want them to know it was because he ordered it, as it could possibly lead to war between the kingdoms, and in his own words, the ladies keep him too busy to go to war. Annabel just thinks he’s too lazy and a pig and that’s why he doesn't want war.

Not that what she thinks matters. As soon as he told her to go, she did. She walked over to the stairs and waited. She looked down at her dress while she waited. It had been so long since she wore something so nice, something actually befitting a princess.

Her brother never actually let her wear dresses like this; in fact, the things she wore were always something embarrassing or incredibly revealing. He didn’t necessarily like seeing her in skimpy clothes as he was her brother; it was more so he could remind her he was in charge.

Annabel actually liked the dress she was in; it felt normal to her. She hadn’t realized how much she wanted to be able to wear one and attend a ball like this; it was just too bad she was here for malicious purposes.

Annabel noticed something moving out of the corner of her eye and looked toward it. It was her target. She was halfway down the stairs, which meant it was time for Annabel to complete the orders Lukas had given her.

Annabel walked over to a table, grabbed a bowl that was empty, and slipped it under her dress. She then held it with her upper legs and walked towards the stairs. She positioned herself right at the end of the left railing as the princess was using it to come down safely in heels.

Annabel slowly lowered the bowl with her legs until it was on the ground to avoid making a noise. She then used her foot to move the bowl to the right spot. Once that was in position, Annabel stopped the first servant she found holding food that when spilled, would make a mess.

She then started talking to him right in front of the stairs. Once the princess came down and stepped off the stairs, she stepped into the bowl, and it caused her to slip forward, and because Annabel was talking to the servant right there, the princess bumped into him.

The tray of food spilled all over her, ruining her dress, her hair, and, most importantly, her night. The crowd of guests didn’t make a noise at first, likely trying to hold their laughter, but then someone started laughing, which caused everyone else to join. Annabel looks towards Lukas and sees him laughing. He was clearly happy with her service, but she doubted this was the end of what he had in store for her.
