New Year's Eve I

I was sitting alone in my bedroom looking out at the stars in the sky. It was only about an hour before midnight on New Year's Eve. twenty-twenty-five was right around the corner, and here I was once again going into the new year alone.

Everyone I knew was heading out to the New Year festival, and I suppose I could go myself, but it’s typically something you do as a couple, and despite trying really hard, I couldn’t get a girl to agree to go with me.

To their credit, it wasn’t that they all hated me, they had just all been asked and accepted a date before I got to them. Even my friends who were girls had dates. So I guess it’s mostly because there are more guys my age than girls.

I sit back and sigh. Girls have it so easy. If I were one, I’m sure I’d be out at the festival having a good time, instead of laying in bed all depressed. As I sat there thinking about the crazy notion of becoming a girl, my whole room started to light up. 

New Year's Eve II

A light had come out of nowhere and I began freaking out. The light got so bright that I was blinded by it. I couldn't see anything in my room. Once it was gone, I rubbed my eyes and looked around. I found myself in shock as my entire room had changed. 

It was slightly girlier than before. I moved my hair out of my face as it was bothering me, and then I realized something. I don’t have long hair. I reached my hand up and followed the hair, and sure enough it was attached to my head. 

I gulped and looked down, and sure enough, my hair wasn't the only thing to change. My view when looking down was partially blocked. There was no doubt about what was blocking it. I was a girl. That light turned me into a girl.

As I was trying to figure out how it was possible, my mother burst into my room and scolded me for not being ready yet. She told me my date would be here soon and I needed to get ready. She then sat me down and started to work on my hair. I couldn't believe all of this was happening. 

New Year’s Day I

After suddenly turning into a girl my mother barged into my room, scolded me for not being ready for my date, and started to help me get ready. I was too embarrassed and nervous about it to speak up and say anything.

After getting me into a pretty dress my date showed up to pick me up. It was actually a guy who I thought was pretty cool, Mikel. Shortly after leaving my house, we were walking around the festival playing games.

Despite being embarrassed about being turned into a girl and wearing this dress I was actually having a good time with him. I lost track of time and before I knew it the countdown to the new year had begun.

Mikel took me into his arms and held me which felt strangely comforting and well romantic. We looked into each other's eyes as we counted down from ten, and once the countdown hit zero we kissed as we did fireworks went off in the background and for a moment I couldn't have been happier.

New Year’s Day II

After kissing Mikel and I hung out for another hour before he brought me home. I fell asleep pretty quickly as the mix of emotions was quite tiring. When I woke up in the morning I found that I was still a girl.

I decided to do a bit of investigating and it seems everyone thinks I'm a girl and have always been one. My parents, friends, and even family photos have changed to match my new appearance which is still very crazy.

I'm not sure if it was magic, some sort of universe shift thing, or what, but honestly I think I'm glad that it happened, and that I woke up still being a girl this morning. I know it's strange and makes no sense as I was a guy.

Last night was so fun I felt cute in the dress and the kiss with Mel was amazing though I still can't believe that my first kiss was with a guy while I was a girl I look out the window at the morning sun and smile the new year is here and the new me will make the most of it.
