It was the year 2014; the world had been changing at a great speed ever since the start of the industrial revolution and was becoming stronger, more technologically advanced, and open to new things by the day. Even the fact that monsters existed was now widely known and accepted.

Of course, they were still mostly treated like monsters and still often lived away from normal human towns and cities and were not often seen, which caused them to be treated strangely when one was seen, as the humans only had rumors, myths, and speculation to go off of about them.

There were very few facts or people who knew monsters personally and as such, there has been no bridge to bring them to society and join the world that was being created, and most of the monsters were fine with that, as they didn’t like the modern world.

One such monster family, the Rockshadows, was among those who hated the new world. As a vampire family, they’ve survived on human blood for as long as they’ve been around, and they thought humans wouldn’t be willing to give them blood freely.

However, one youngling among the family, Joseph Rockshadow, thought it was possible. As he studied, he learned all about how blood can be taken without a vampire bite and how humans donate blood to each other.

Joseph believed that they could make some sort of deal and become allies with humans. They could get the humans to give blood in exchange for using their powers to help them out, and as a bonus, the vampires could join in on the technological advancements the humans made.

The head of the family brushed him off every time he brought it up, saying it wasn’t possible, that people have always hated monsters and will always hate them, and there was no point in trying, as it would only get them all killed.

Joseph then tried to convince the others, but all of them just listened to the head of the family and said it was too dangerous. Having no one to listen to him or even care for what he had to say, he decided he was done there.

He saw no future in being locked in a cave, afraid of the world. He had already passed his vampire mastery test and was free to go where he wanted, and where he wanted to be was the world, the modern world, not trapped in a cave hoping the medieval times would come back.

Joseph moves to London and finds himself an apartment and a job he can work at night and he begins to study the new technology during the day. He had high hopes that things would go well and he’d prove his family they were wrong, but things quickly started going badly

It was hard finding a job that let him work only at night, but it was also hard to find one that he was skilled for, so he found himself doing odd jobs between the full-time jobs he bounced around each month.

Then someone saw him buying blood to consume since he needs it as a vampire, and rumors about him went around and he got kicked out of his apartment. He found a new one but it was more expensive, so now he barely makes enough to pay for it and get the blood he needs.

That led to him feeding less for a time, which was really dangerous for a vampire, as it could cause him to go crazy and attack a person, which would be really bad. He needed a way to make ends meet, so he came up with a desperate plan.

He had grown used to and fond of using his laptop, which not only let him study everything on the web but also see videos of people, which he was using to learn more about people. That also led him to discovering the world of beautiful women who make money by making videos.

Some do so by streaming games or other content, and others do so by making very special videos. Joseph knew those special videos would make him a ton of money, but he wasn’t sure he could do what he was thinking of doing and then do those things in a video.

No, he thought simply becoming a beautiful woman and streaming games would be enough, and luckily, thanks to the effects of virgin's blood on vampires, he had a way to turn himself into one; all he needed was the right one.

She’ll start cursing at the game or the people, but because of her high-pitched voice and cute face, people find it adorable and don’t take it seriously, especially after she realizes that the person isn’t insulting her or that losing wasn’t a big deal, which just causes her to become embarrassed.

After months of streaming, Joseph, who now goes by the name Josie The Vampire Queen, a popular up-and-coming gamer girl with over a hundred thousand followers. Josie also makes a ton of money, more than enough to buy her own place and to keep up with her need for blood.

So now she’s got quite the comfortable life: she streams during the day, studies, and goes out at night; she’s wealthy and has tons of people who love her. Best of all, while streaming, she teaches her followers about vampires, which helps remove the rumors or misinformation.

Her dream came true; she became the bridge for vampires to join the modern world, and in time many other vampires would come out and join the modern world, finding different ways to blend into society and use their powers to help out instead of kill and feed.

After a few years nearly every vampire had joined the world and stopped hiding like monsters, all but one family, the Rockshadows, who had finally come out of the shadows and saw their little runaway family member. Who was now the most famous vampire in the family?
