Deepspace: Deron and the Receiving Dock Entrance (Ea)(Com)

A commission for last_of_workers!!

Deron was walking along the surface looking for an entrance that led to Zeta-13, and it wasn’t going well. She had found two entrances so far, and she couldn’t get through either because of how large her body is now.

She just couldn’t squeeze her breasts through the tight spaces, and she couldn’t make them smaller using her new abilities, only bigger, which she really doesn’t want. So she kept looking for another entrance, one that would let her through.

Eventually she found the receiving dock, which was still open thanks to an old, broken-down spaceship holding the rolling door up. Deron was able to walk right inside with no problem and no worry of having to squeeze through with her large chest getting in the way.

After taking five steps forward, Deron noticed something next to her. She turned her head, and suddenly she saw a flash of light. Thinking quickly, she ran away from it, which was good, as it turned out to be an anomaly.

After the flash, Deron opened her eyes and looked at where it came from, worried about what it was. Turns out it just made the ship disappear. Deron let out a sigh of relief, then the large rolling door that the ship was holding up came slamming down.

It not only scared the shit out of Deron, but the force with which it came down caused her to fall over. Deron was now lying on the ground, unable to see, with her heart racing a mile a minute. She took a few minutes to calm down before slowly standing up.

She looked around and couldn’t see anything. She grabbed her hair and started yelling about how bad this was, how she couldn’t get out now, and how she just wished she had a flashlight to wave around so she could see.

Suddenly the nanobots inside her started to activate and flow out of her and towards her hand. Though she couldn’t tell since they were basically invincible normally, and now there was no light at all, so she just continued to freak out.

That was until her hand suddenly started to project a very bright light, one bright enough to light up a town. Deron stopped freaking out and looked at her hand. She was shocked to find she no longer had fingers or a hand.

Instead, her hand was now a flashlight. Deron started to freak out again but stopped quickly when the nanobots said her request was complete, reminding her that she could change her body in ways like this and it was nothing to worry about.

She took a few deep breaths and started to walk through the receiving dock. It seems the original people who lived there were in the middle of a large shipment when the disaster struck, and they all had to leave.

She could tell that because there were crates upon crates of supplies, from things like cores and other ship parts to long-lasting preserved food packets and even things like clothes and rare minerals—really everything this base would need.

Deron walked around checking out the ships that were inside, hoping to find one that would work so, at the very least, she could leave once this was all over. Unfortunately, either from years of sitting idle or from vicious anomalies, none of them worked.

She couldn’t even charge or fuel any of them either, as the receiving dock wasn’t powered, so she couldn’t use the refueling supplies. Deron sighed and started mumbling again about how this was the worst day of her life and how everything was going wrong.

As she was walking out of the last ship she had to check, inside it another anomaly had appeared, and it caused the entire ship to suddenly fall apart into very tiny pieces, pieces that were only visible because they were all now piled up on top of each other, and there were a ton of them.

Deron looked down at the ship and had the most sour expression on her face. She took her hand that still had fingers and flipped off the ship, which now looked more like a sandpile than a ship. As she flipped it off, they started to move.

Deron gulped and started to walk backwards. The pile started to rise into the air and now looked like a swarm of very angry bugs, except they weren't bugs. Deron knew exactly what they were, as she had worked very closely with them for a long time.

It was nanobots, just like the ones she created inside her now, with the only difference being these ones seem to dislike her. Deron quickly turned around and started running, but the swarm didn’t care and flew after her.

It picked her right off the ground and flew her into a wall, slamming her into it so hard she left a dent in the thick metal wall. The swarm then continued to fly into her, leaving tiny cuts all over her body, none of which were large enough to bleed, but she could still feel them.

Once all the bots had hit her, it flew away for a moment in order to get its speed back to slam into her again. Deron knew it was coming and had to act, so she activated all the nanobots she had inside her.

She pulled herself out of the wall and dropped to the ground below, then ordered the nanobots to change her other hand into some sort of electric-based gun so that she could shock the nanobots and deactivate them.

She then ordered several others to create two boosters for her feet so she could increase her speed. Lastly, she tasked the rest with attacking the nanobots after her and defending her. The nanobots approved her commands and got to work.

The swarm came flying back towards her, and with the help of her nanobots defending her, she was able to dodge its next attack. Of course, both armies of nanobots clashed, and while it did take out a third of the swarm's nanobots, it also took out every nanobot she had.

Luckily it was enough time for her boosters and gun to be made, so now she could dodge on her own while going on the offensive. Deron started to run around the facility, shooting her gun and taking out small sections of the nanobots.

Deron suddenly stopped moving and started blasting the swarm, hoping to lure it into a trap. When it came flying towards her in order to hit her again, she used her boots to blast herself out of the way, and while the swarm flew right into the wall behind her, she blasted it over and over.

It was a long, slow battle, as Deron prioritized keeping herself safe and only shooting the swarm when she wouldn’t be in danger, but in the end it worked; Deron was able to take out every last nanobot attempting to kill her.

Which was good, as each time she shot, it also consumed nanobots, and up until then her body was using the last of its resources to create more for her to use. So now she was completely empty, with no resources left to create more and no energy to do so if she did.

Deron was about to sit down and try to regain some energy, but the forces around Zeta-13 weren't having that. Anomalies similar to the first one appeared in each of the ships in the receiving dock, and each one slowly fell into a pile looking like sand.

Deron looked around and gulped. There was no way she could fight them all, let alone one more swarm. She was out of nanobots. She had no resources or energy, which meant no more nanobots, no more blasts from her gun, and no more boosting around.

With no choice, Deron turned around and started to run away. Which wasn’t easy; every few seconds she was swept off her feet and thrown across the room by one of the swarms. It seemed she was going to be defeated and consumed by the nanobots.

However, somehow she got lucky. When one of the swarms picked her up and tossed her across the room, it threw her into an elevator. At first the elevator didn’t have any power, but yet another anomaly activated, this time in Deron’s favor.

It powered the elevator and took her down a hundred floors to a storage area. The elevator then opened, and the power turned off again. Deron let out a sigh of relief and just lay on the floor, not wanting to move because her body currently hurt a bit and she was out of energy.

Her system told her that she needed to rest to regain energy and then find some resources in order to create nanobots. It also told her it had completed its scans of the foreign nanobots and was now able to produce swarm-type nanobots just like what attacked her.

Deron let out a laugh; at least something came of all that. She basically had a new power. Of course, she had no idea how many resources she’d need to make swarm-type nanobots, but seeing as she was in the storage facility, she should be able to find out after a quick nap, that is.

remember last time i said that zeta-13 wants to get rid of the uninvited guests? now my opinion has changed a little she doesn't want to get rid of them she plays with them like a cat with mice she could kill them all at any moment but she plays with them and this gives our heroes a chance to win! and yes you understood me correctly i am delighted with this story i really liked it!
