The Elder Scrolls Pashoecia Pt:3 (Ea)(Vote)

After thinking it over, it seemed best to avoid wandering around as a woman, so Seth was going to head right over to Agorim's Tower and meet up with the wizard to deliver the jewel and hopefully have him use it to turn her back into a guy.

It was a shame, though; she would normally explore the cave. Perhaps if she has time, she’ll come back and explore it when she’s a guy again. Seth turns away from it and makes her way towards the main road and proceeds to walk down it for around a half hour.

Seth had stopped because she heard someone call out to her; she turned and found a female Khajiit with some items laid out before her. It was clear she was a traveling merchant and wanted to sell Seth some things.

Seth was interested, though. She’s found some of her best deals on the road like this, so she walked over and introduced herself. The merchant was happy to meet her and then introduced herself as Ra'sari.

Ra'sari then said she had the perfect items for Seth, and she immediately pulled out a bunch of products designed for women, things like makeup and beads to weave into hair. Seth looked at her awkwardly and said she didn’t need stuff like that.

Ra'sari sighed and said that was a shame, as it would look really good on her. Ra'sari then put the items away and pulled out something else. This time it was a very long dress, one that people wore to fancy parties.

Seth looked at it, and it was quite nice, and she thought it would look really good on a woman, and that’s when she remembered she was currently one, and thoughts of her wearing it popped into her head. She imagined herself dancing around in it with everyone's eyes on her.

Seth’s face turned bright red, and she told Ra'sari she wasn’t interested; she wanted to look more at any equipment and adventuring supplies she had for sale. Ra'sari seemed disappointed again but said she understood.

Ra'sari then began pulling out all the weapons, armor, and other supplies she had for sale. One such item was an Imperial Bow. Normally Seth didn’t use a bow, but she did just get all these arrows, and she could tell this bow was enchanted.

Seth asked Ra'sari about the enchantment, and she was surprised to hear it was enchanted. Seth confirmed it was and asked to look at it to inspect it and find out what it was enchanted with. Ra'sari was more than happy to let her, perhaps because it made the item more valuable.

Seth took the bow and attuned her mana to it, and once they were in sync, she could tell it was a minor fire enchantment, one that sets whatever it hits or shoots on fire for about five seconds. Seth relayed this information back to Ra'sari, who still seemed surprised.

Seth asked her what was wrong, and Ra'sari said she really thought Seth was going to lie in order to get a better deal, but she’s really good at knowing when someone is lying, and she knew Seth was telling the truth.

Seth smiled and said she’d never con a merchant, as they help her out by always having the supplies she needs in order to adventure around. Ra'sari smiled and said she was glad to hear there were people who valued what she did.

Ra'sari then said Seth was now a valued customer and would get a discount. She then offered the Imperial Bow of Fire to her for only one hundred and twenty-five gold. Seth thought about it for a moment; that would be a large chunk of her current money.

She wasn’t sure it was the best use of money, especially since she may need that money. However, with a smaller body, using a bow more might be a good idea. Seth pondered it for a minute before she was about to agree to buy it.

She stopped, though, and remembered she didn’t have to spend her gold; she had things she could trade and/or sell to Ra'sari instead. Seth went into her inventory and looked around; she pulled out one of her rubies and the wolf meat and pelts.

Ra'sari inspected the items and said she’d trade the bow for the ruby, and she’d give Seth fifty-five gold for the wolf parts, or if she wanted, she could take a week's worth of travel rations since she’s an adventurer.

Seth thought about it for a minute and agreed to trade the bow and the wolf parts for the bow and the rations. They then traded those items, and Ra'sari began to pull more things out. Seth had to stop her and told Ra'sari that was all she needed for now.

Seth thanked Ra'sari and started to walk off. Ra'sari said goodbye and said she hoped to meet her again. Seth smiled and made her way back to the main road in order to continue on her way to Agorim's Tower.

Seth continued down the road for about an hour, and that’s when she started to notice more and more people, which made sense as she was close to the neighboring kingdom of Driuca, and this road was the only entrance, meaning tons of people used it.

Seth just ignored them. She was almost to the path that led to the tower, and she wanted to get there as soon as possible, but it seemed fate was not on her side. Suddenly the path in front of her started to shake.

Huge black vines with red thorns that seemed to be oozing some sort of darkness popped out of the ground and completely blocked the main road. Druids appeared and started chanting by the vines, and then the merchants on Seth’s side of the vines started yelling and booing.

The merchants started yelling about how the ritual the druids were conducting up the road was causing these vines to appear, while the druids said they were trying to prevent the vines from getting worse.

The merchants scoffed and said that everywhere these vines have appeared, some sort of monster appeared after them, killing tons of people. The druids shook their heads and said that was why they were trying to stop it and help the spirits that were being corrupted.

The merchants started yelling again that until they and their people showed up, there were no vines or evil spirits and that all of this was their doing. The druids shook their heads and started ignoring the merchants and tried to get back to their ritual, but the merchants stopped them.

Seth shook her head; it seemed she was going to have to deal with this problem before she could get to the tower. So it was side quest time. She walked over to the arguing parties and put herself in between them.

She introduced herself and told everyone that she was an adventurer for hire and that she was willing to solve the problem if someone wanted to pay her. The merchants perked up and right away said they’d hire her.

They asked her to go to the ancient stone circle up the road where the druids were conducting their ritual and stop them, killing them and the evil spirits they created if necessary. They offered her four hundred gold and a nice new orcish sword for completing the job.

Seth nodded and was about to go, but one of the druids grabbed her arm and started talking to her. He told her that the ritual they were doing was to bring out the creature that was causing the spirits to be corrupted and cause these vines.

He begged Seth not to stop the druids but instead to go aid them and help kill whatever came out. If she did, he promised her a special staff as well as a few magical items that they had. He then begged Seth not to kill any druids or spirits.

Seth closed her eyes and said she’d have to think about it but told the druids the first thing she’d do was go inspect what was going on, and if he’s telling the truth, she’ll help them; if not, she’d put an end to all of this.

Seth then made her way up the small path towards the ancient stone circle where the ritual was being held. It took a few minutes, but she eventually found it and the druids in the middle of their ritual.

Seth didn’t stop them and immediately went around to inspect the area. Something was off, and she could feel it. There was a heavy, dark presence in the middle of the circle, and the vines here were much larger.

Then there were the spirits. There were several around, all corrupted but not moving, as if they were waiting for something. Seth continued to look around, and she found an old wooden chest hidden halfway in the ground and covered with leaves.

She opened it up and looked inside. There was a book called The Cult of Phlotous. Seth grabbed it and started to look it over. The cover had a strange logo on it, but that was quite common with cults in Pashoecia.

If this was here, that likely meant they did something causing all of this, which meant that the druids were probably right and trying to stop it. Seth stood up and was about to join the druids in their mission when she noticed them all start to float and then suddenly chant something demonic.

Seth attempted to run over and try and figure out if they were okay, but before she could move, it felt as though something clubbed her on the back of the head. She found herself falling to the ground after that and losing consciousness.

Tamriel you say? Hmmm not sure about that. Fun little fact, Tamriel is a continent, and the planet I believe is called Nirn. In this series the continent we’re on is Pashoecia, and it is massive. Now the real question, is Pashoecia on Nirn? C:

Traveling through the lands of Tamriel is always a lottery - you can find a traveling merchant with unique goods or a strange Khajiit named M'aiq the Liar or interfere with a mysterious ritual or just end up in the wrong place even though you were going absolutely right or even not meet anyone... the roads of Tamriel are amazing...
