Athena stood there utterly shocked and defeated. She had almost done it; she had almost completed the task given to her by Ares almost a year ago. One more week and she would have been freed and gone on to be a goddess again.

Now in an instant it was all ruined; it was over. She’d now be a slave for the rest of her mortal life. Her downfall was all but guaranteed when the caravan that owned her came to Sparta, the city that always had it out for her.

They started selling her services, and she quickly drew in a lot of attention from the people who lived there, including the wealthier folk. Offers to buy Athena came rolling in, but the caravan leader refused every single one, thinking he’d make more money keeping her.

At least that was until a man named Aleuas came along and saw her beauty. He knew right away he had to have her and offered the caravan leader so much gold he couldn’t refuse to sell Athena to him. 

After that, Athena was taken back to his home, where she found out he was one of the sons of Leonidas II, one of the current kings of Sparta. From there, she spent everyday waiting for her master in his bedroom for him to come home so she could pleasure him.

Not a day went by where she didn’t find herself in his bed, with his hands around her and his cock deep inside her. She also didn’t see a day where he didn’t have her tied up, wearing something revealing, or giving her commands to do dirty or kinky stuff for his entertainment.

Athena told Aleuas how she was Athena the goddess all the way up to how Ares used cheap tactics to win a fight against her and then turn her into a mortal who was to be sold off, then to what led her to being his slave.

Aleuas was amused by her tale, but he didn’t believe a word of it; after all, it sounded crazy. However, it was hard to deny that in Athena’s eyes was a burning passion, one like he had always heard the goddess Athena had.

Wanting to see if her claims were true, Aleuas released her from her bondage and gave her a spear and shield. He then grabbed one for himself and challenged her to a friendly battle. Athena hesitated and said she no longer had the strength she once had.

Aleuas shook his head and said the real Athena was more than just her strength. She was skilled and smart. If Athena was truly the goddess she claimed to be, then she’d still be able to find a way to beat him, even as a weak mortal.

Athena took that to heart and accepted his challenge. She prepared herself and waited for Aleuas to attack, which like most Spartan men, he did so quickly. Athena dodged his first attack and kicked him in the back.

He stumbled forward but quickly recovered and turned around and thrust his shield. Athena used her shield to block it, but without her normal strength, it sent her flying backwards. Aleuas then charged after her. Athena managed to stay on her feet and dodge his attack again.

She went on the defensive and started to think. She was slightly quicker than him but much weaker, so going head-to-head with him was a bad idea, and running would lead nowhere. How could she beat him without actually killing him?

As she jumped around dodging his spear, she came up with an idea. She lured him into the middle of the room, and once he was in place, she spun around and let go of her shield to send it flying at Aleuas.

He saw it coming and moved out of the way, leaving her shield to go flying across the room. He then pointed his spear at Athena and said he not only won, but he wasn’t convinced what she had claimed was true.

Athena just smiled and said his cockiness was his undoing. Aleuas looked confused until he heard the sound of metal hitting something else. He turned around just in time to be hit right in the stomach by Athena’s shield, which had bounced off the bedframe and come flying back towards him.

He dropped his spear and shield and fell to his knees. Athena then took her spear and pressed the bottom of it against his back and declared herself the winner. Aleuas started laughing and said she was quite impressive and possibly who she said she was.

Athena hoped that knowing who she was would mean he’d go easy on her perhaps even help her, but it was the opposite. Once the fight was over, he had her put back into bondage, including a new gag with a bar on it.

From there Athena’s life went back to the normal it had come to be, having sex with her master every day and waiting for the year to be over. It was going pretty well with nothing special happening until a little over a month before her year's task was complete.

Aleuas had been attempting to claim his father's seat as king but was losing the succession fight to his brother Cleomenes III. Aleuas needed something to make himself stand above his brother, but he had nothing, nothing but Athena.

So in front of all of Sparta, he showed her off and revealed who she really was. He told the crowd a tale about how he had bested her, and for winning, she had agreed to become his slave and do his every bidding.

Aleuas then showed the crowds how she’d obey his every command; he then even let some of them fight her, and when none of the best Spartans could win, everyone was convinced of the truth, that the slave of Aleuas was the former goddess Athena.

After that, support for Aleuas went up, and he managed to win the succession, meaning he’d soon be king of Sparta. Athena didn’t care about that, though; he could use her all he wanted, but in a month, she’d be free.

Three weeks had passed since that moment, and Athena found herself eagerly waiting for this last week to be finished. She was so excited about it, she didn’t even care that Aleuas had her wearing transparent clothes that showed off her body for everyone to see.

She also didn’t care about the spreader gag keeping her mouth open or the rope binding her wrists together behind her head, dangling her from the ceiling where it was attached. It didn’t matter because soon she’d be free and a goddess.

As she was fantasizing about the future and her revenge on Ares, her master, the man about to be one of the kings of Sparta, Aleuas, came walking in. He came right up to her and put his hands around her and thanked her for helping him achieve his goal of becoming king.

He then said he thought long and hard about her situation and how soon she’d complete her task and be free again. He then smiled as he said he couldn’t let that happen. Athena tilted her head, confused. He couldn’t stop it, could he?

Aleuas took a step back and ordered Athena to say her name out loud for him to hear. Athena, not thinking much about it, attempted to do so, but thanks to her gag, no words came out, only a muffled mess of sounds and a small amount of drool.

Athena tried again but failed just the first time, so she tried again and again until her drool was coating her breasts and dripping from them to the floor. Despite all her effort, she was unable to say her name and complete the order she was given.

Aleuas winked at him, turned, and walked out of the room, leaving her there in despair as she had failed her task. That meant this life, if you could even call it life, was hers. She was to live the rest of her life as a mortal and a slave…
