It was first thing in the morning, and the sun was just coming up on the Feramouth Woodland area. Which was a massive piece of land with tons of different walking trails in it. Some that are a mile long, and some that are nearly thirty miles long.

Christian and Nadine had been planning their trip here for months, and they got there before the sun came up so they had plenty of time to walk the longest trail. The two of them were super excited to see all the unique plants and animals that Feramouth is supposed to have.

So when they arrived at the park, they packed their bags with tons of water and snacks, got sunscreen and bug spray on, and just for good luck, they shared a long intimate kiss with each other before heading to find the map for all the trails.

There was one super long trail that went through the whole area, and it had several paths that split off of it and looped back around. Christian and Nadine didn’t even need to discuss it; they came here for the long path, and they were going to do the whole thing.

So they take a pic of the map with their phones just so they don’t get lost, then they grab each other's hand and start walking, wondering what the first plant or animal they see will be. However, after an hour of walking, they’d yet to see anything.

It was all just normal trees, and there didn’t seem to be any animals out yet. They thought it was just because it was still early, that maybe some of the cooler plants only bloomed when the sun was out, and that most of the animals were still asleep.

So they kept walking, and by the time they reached the marker letting them know they were about a third of the way done with the trial, it was nearly ten in the morning, so they knew that it couldn’t be those things. The two of them were getting really bummed about it.

They really wanted to see cool things, but it seems either the website and tourist lied about this place, or maybe they came at the wrong time of the year. They had no idea which it was, but luckily they managed to run into someone who worked there.

The person they found was messing with some large leaves from a tree but had the uniform of the rangers that worked there, so Nadine and Christian felt they would have the answers they seek.

After a bit of talking with the strangely awkward ranger.

They were told about a secret path that had all the cool things they were looking for. The ranger then lifted the leaves they were messing with up and revealed an old-looking, semi-formed path. Christian and Nadine were completely surprised and asked why it wasn’t on the map.

The ranger explained it still wasn’t fully complete, and they were still trimming some areas back to make it easier to walk, but they said since it wasn’t busy today, the two of them shouldn’t have a problem going in. Christian and Nadine discussed it and agreed to try it; what harm could it do?

So with the ranger holding the leaves up, the two of them walked under them onto the new secret path. They then started to walk it, and sure enough, after a minute, they started seeing crazy-looking plants. Some of them were purple with large thorns, or white and smelled like soap.

While others seemed to be flowers that were a mix of roses and sunflowers but blew in the wind like dandelions. It was all so cool, and the two of them were having a blast checking out all the new things.

The path eventually led them to a huge, strange-looking flower, and strangely, the path just ended, even though they were pretty sure the ranger said it would go all the way through. Perhaps they made a wrong turn; seeing as there really wasn’t a path or markers for a trail, it was possible.

No big deal though, they’d just check out the flower and then turn around. Christian got up nice and close and was amazed at the size of it. It was massive, so much so a person could probably fall inside it.

Nadine was a bit surprised at the size and told Christian to be careful, but he wanted a closer look, so he stepped onto the flower's petal and started to walk towards its center. Well, he should have listened to her, as the flower didn’t like what he was doing.

Suddenly its tendrils started moving, and they shot towards Christian. He didn’t even have a second to think before being completely grabbed, nevermind a chance to run away. Nadine worried for him, jumped up on the flower, and tried to get him free.

However, the flower didn’t like that either, and it grabbed her as well. Once it had both of them, it lifted them up into the air and brought them towards its center, where it then slowly lowered them down.

Neither of them had any idea what was happening, but they feared the worst. The plant lowered them down inside it until the two of them were submerged inside its nectar. At first they thought it was trying to kill them, but after a few seconds they realized it was transforming them.

Nadine’s transformation didn’t take nearly as long, and as soon as it was done, she was removed from the inside of the flower and let go on the ground outside of it. She immediately looked over herself and was quite amazed at what it did to her.

At first glance it looked as though it simply gave her a dress made of leaves and thorns, but she could feel them as though they were a part of her. She touched the leaves that seemed to make a skirt for her and laughed a bit, because they tickled.

So she knew she was right; it seemed the flower turned her into some plant-based creature. After a bit more messing around, Nadine also discovered she could move her flower bits like she could move her arms while also growing them in or out of her.

Nadine’s curiosity grew, and she wondered if it was just her new plant body that she could control, or if she could mess with other plants. She reached her hand down and tried to grow one of the purple plants that was next to her, and her eyes opened wide when it started to get bigger.

She couldn’t believe it; it was so cool. Nadine wanted to ask Christian what he thought, then remembered he hadn’t come out yet. She suddenly panicked and wondered if it was actually killing him or eating him, but she could sense something coming from deep inside the flower.

Somehow, she knew Christian was still alive, but his transformation was taking some time. Nadine thought about using her powers to see if she could get him out, but she wanted him to have them as well, so she let him stay in there and simply waited for him to get tossed out by the flower.

It surprisingly took a couple hours, but Nadine finally sensed Christian starting to come back up. She stood up and got all giddy when she saw a pair of leaf-covered legs come out. Then she was a little confused when she saw a leaf skirt, followed by what looked like a purple-haired woman.

Once the girl was on her feet and free, she smiled at Nadine and started talking about how crazy that was but then how cute Nadine’s new dress was. Nadine thanked her for the compliment but then asked who she was.

The purple-haired girl looked confused and then said her name was Melody; then she herself seemed confused. Melody then said her name a few times, almost like she was confused about it. Nadine still had no idea who she was and asked Melody if she’d seen her boyfriend down there.

Melody raised an eyebrow and said she was Nadine’s boyfriend. Nadine raised an eyebrow and told Melody that her boyfriend’s name was Christian and that he was a boy. Hearing that name made Melody smile, but then hearing the rest only made her confused.

She admitted that was the name she meant to use but for some reason kept saying Melody. As for the boy part, she pointed down at herself and said she was very clearly a boy. She then looked down to try and prove it, only to be met with the proof she was no longer a boy.

Melody jumped back and started freaking out about how she had breasts now, how she was thinner and curvier, and even about the leaves and vines part of her body. As Melody freaked out, Nadine started to notice things in the way she moved and spoke.

It was just like Christian, but it couldn’t be right? That would mean the flower not only turned her into a plant like it did to her, but it also turned her into quite the pretty girl. Nadine walked forward and grabbed Melody’s hands, which got her to stop freaking out.

Once they were looking into each other’s eyes, not saying a word, Nadine planted a kiss on Melody’s lips. Melody didn’t pull away or do anything but close her eyes and kiss Nadine back, just like she’d always done.

That was all Nadine needed; that one little kiss told her that Melody was in fact Christian. Once Nadine moved her head back, she and Melody started talking about what happened, but neither was really sure why it did that to them or how to turn back.

That did worry Melody a bit, as she was completely embarrassed about being a girl, but Nadine told her not to worry about it, as not only was she super pretty, but she also had plant-like powers now. She then showed Melody what she could do.

Melody was amazed and started messing around with her powers as well. So while Nadine was making things grow and change shape, Melody was using vines with sharp thorns as swords, projectiles, and even to swing around on.

After messing around, the two of them heard a voice, but neither one could find out where. The voice told them that they had been chosen to be the protectors of the Feramouth Woodlands and bring life back to it. Neither of them was really sure what that meant, but Melody had an idea.

They could use their powers to create cool plants along all the trails. Nadine thought that was a wonderful plan, and she started to run towards the main trail to get started. Melody slowly followed after her, excited as well, but still completely embarrassed about her new female body.

Perhaps she can turn back once they are done, or perhaps they’d be like this long enough to adjust, but at the very least, she was still glad Nadine thought she was pretty and that they got to do this together.
