What do you wish for: Acein4131

“Hmm, this doesn’t seem real. As a scientist why would I believe in this kind of magic, that can’t be proven with reason.” Acein4131 staring at the ticket was more than ready to toss it in the trash.

“Fine, I might as well try something to be funny.” Holding the ticket in their hands, Acein4131 stares at the ticket, jokingly thinking about appearing before the genie. “not like that will happen back to work.”

Suddenly the ticket began to glow, with the number 10 appearing on it. Acein4131 began to wonder what kind of trick this was when suddenly they were teleported in front of an unfamiliar woman. “Are you okay number ten?

Usually, people close their eyes, it helps with teleportation. You look okay, so uh what was I supposed to say? Oh yeah, I am a wish-granting genie, and I sense you have a wish, so please go ahead and state it now.”

Acein4131’s jaw dropped, magic was real? Who knows how many aspects of science this discovery could affect? With all reason out the window now, Acein4131 definitely wasn’t going to waste this opportunity.

“I wish to go on a real adventure, instead of being cooped inside all day.” Acein4131 pretty much yelled due to the excitement. “A real adventure sounds fun, I’ll make sure it's a truly amazing experience.”

The genie flew super high into the air, so far that she couldn’t be seen. When she came back she was holding some sort of orb, probably made of magic, and perhaps the source that lets her grant people's wishes.

“Where you’re going, you’ll want to spend all your time outside, I do hope you have fun.” With that, the genie dropped the orb and it began to expand. It turned into a portal, and then quickly flew through Acein4131.

When she opened her eyes, she almost had a heart attack. She was floating in space, staring straight at some unknown planet. Ace realized she wasn’t suffocating and began examining the equipment she had on.

Her space suit was so much more advanced than anything they had made on Earth at the time, so perhaps the genie sent her into the future where space travel is super advanced. She noticed she was tethered to something and turned around to check it out.

It was a massive spaceship, something straight out of a sci-fi movie. Ace couldn’t believe it, to people of her time, this was a scientific masterpiece. She hit a button next to the tether that caused it to retract.

It brought her up to a platform with a door. Walking up to the door caused it to do a scan. “Scanning, please wait. Scan complete. Welcome back Captain Ace, please enter.” She was the captain of this thing, that amazing!

The door quickly opened, and Ace entered. The first area was the airlock, the outside door closed and locked, artificial gravity was activated and the chamber began decontaminating. Once it finished, oxygen began to fill the room.

With that, the inner door opened. Ace walked through to see a young woman, she was holding a tray of drinks and snacks. “Welcome back captain, I hope you enjoyed your spacewalk, I’ve prepared some drinks and snacks for you.”

Ace happily accepted and began to snack on the strange space treats. “Madam, would you like help getting out of your spacesuit?” Ace looked at the woman strangely and then down at her suit. Ace looked down at the spacesuit, sure she could probably figure it out, but it would take a while, so she agreed to help. Once she was out of the suit and into normal clothes she got a look at herself.

She didn’t realize how much her body changed, she was so short and slim. It was a little annoying, but she was now the captain of an amazing spaceship, and she didn’t have time to worry about her new body. After all, there was way too much space to explore to waste time here.
