What do you wish for: Arhurngai

Holding the ticket in his hands, Arhurngai closes his eyes, and begins to think about appearing before the genie. The number 48 appears on the ticket, and Arhurngai is instantly teleported in front of a genie.

“Welcome! Customer number forty-eight step right up and speak your wish to me, the all powerful and beautiful genie… No yeah I don’t like that introduction, it's not me. Anyway, do you have a wish for me?”

“I wish to be a cute wife, with a reliable husband and beautiful kids.” The genie went from being annoyed about her greeting, to suddenly very happy. “What a great wish, I always love creating loving families.”

The genie flew off, grabbing a few tiny orbs. She returned to Arhurngai and started to combine the orbs together. “How many was that four or five? I guess it doesn't matter, all that means is more family members for you.”

The genie hands Arhurngai the orb. “Here you go, this orb will rewrite your entire history. It should start with you being born a female, all the way up to marrying a loving husband, and finally to having a few kids.”

“It should take effect as soon as I send you home, honestly you won't even notice until you open your eyes in your new life. I wish you the best, oh and I hope you're a good mother and husband!”

With that the genie lifted her hand and snapped her fingers, and suddenly Gai found herself standing outdoors next to some river. Arhu looked around and saw several children running around, with a man chasing after them.

As she looked at them, memories of her new life started to flood into her mind. The man was her husband, they met during college and married sometime after they both graduated. They’ve been married for nearly ten years.

Her husband, Murray, was the district attorney where they lived, so he made enough money to support the whole family. Which makes it easier for Arhu to stay home and care for their wonderful children.

Gai then looked at the kids running around, the bigger of the three was her daughter Abby. She’s seven years old and in first grade now. She’s always been super sweet and polite, and loves animals.

Memories of giving birth to her all those years ago filled Arhu's mind, it was quite the experience, but one she'd do again and again. She looked towards the other two kids, the ones scheming together against their father.

Ray and Ren, twins that came unexpectedly two years after Murray and Arhu had Abby. Although they were unexpected, they've never been any less loved, even when they team up and cause trouble.

They’ll be starting first grade next year, which makes Arhu feel a bit uneasy. For the first time in seven years she won't be spending everyday chasing after children. That will only last so long though.

Arhu places her hand on her stomach. Despite no inductions, she knew she was pregnant, likely due to prior experience or even motherly instinct, either way in nine months she’ll be doing it all again with kid number four.

Her husband calls to her and gets her out of her deep thinking. He picks up Abby and tells everyone it’s time to take a family photo. Arhu picks up Ren and offers to hold Ray, but she refuses, saying she's big and can stand.

Everyone huddles together and waits for the timer to go off. Right before it goes off, Murray said he was so grateful to have a big and happy family, to which Arhu said she’s glad, as next year it’ll be even bigger.

As the photo was taken everyone looked at Arhu in surprise. The kids were all confused and Murray put Abby down on the ground and ran up to Arhu. He picked her up and spun her around. He was definitely happy about it, and so was Arhu, she was actually looking forward to it.
