Starting a family pt2

My name is Monica Shaw. I’m currently married to my twenty-nine-year-old husband Curtis Shaw. He works as a sales rep for an insurance company, and I’m a soon-to-be stay-at-home mom.

That's right, I’m currently eight months pregnant and expecting a beautiful baby boy in a little under a month. The last year and a half have been one heck of a crazy ride for me, but in the end, I’m happy to be where I am today.

It started all those months ago when I went to see a woman my mother had set me up with. She had agreed to marry me as long as she was allowed to be the man in the relationship, of course at the time I never would have agreed to that.

That’s why my mother didn’t tell me about it, and I only found out after the swap, which was permanent. So with little choice, I left the building as Monica Whitehill and went with Curtis to my new home.

Like he had promised, he did everything he could to help me adjust to my new body. Everything from wearing my new clothes to applying makeup and about that once-a-month situation I know had to deal with.

By the time ten months had passed, I had fully adjusted to being Monica, and me and Curtis had really hit it off. Despite starting as a sort of arranged situation, we’ve both come to truly love the other.

To show it, we decided to truly get married. I never in my life thought I’d enjoy being the center of attention, never mind as the bride of a wedding. The wedding dress was so pretty and I felt so cute walking down the aisle to Curtis in it.

I still pull the dress out of the closet just to remember how amazing that night was, even though it doesn’t fit currently. After our wedding, we took an amazing honeymoon to paras for a week, where for the first time I slept with Curtis.

I’ll admit, adjusting to sex as a woman was strange, but it was actually quite pleasurable, and a thousand times better than when I was alone with nothing but my hands, but we might have gone a little overboard.

We had sex more than once each day while on vacation, I hadn’t really thought about it, but Curtice was determined to start out family, and well the next month I found out he succeeded. I was pregnant.

We were both happy about it but I was also scared, I was going to be a mom, and I felt entirely unprepared for it. Over the next couple of months, I had to deal with all the things that come with being pregnant.

Morning sickness, mood swings, the craziest of cravings, the swelling of my breasts and sometimes ankles, the lack of energy, the lack of mobility. I tell you, getting stuck and having to ask for help is so embarrassing.

But eight months in, and here I am, still dealing with a lot of those problems, plus the added of my breasts leaking milk, but my baby isn't here yet to drink the milk, so I’ve been donating it to other moms who need it.

Despite all the negatives, I know it’s worth it. When I rub my baby I already feel so much love for him, even though I don’t know what her looks like, although I hope he looks like his mother, then he’ll be even cuter.

I’ve recently finished making preparations for when the baby comes today. We have a hospital picked out, a nursery built and painted with plenty of diapers and toys, and even a changing table.

We even picked out a name, Manny Shaw, named after Curtis’s late grandfather. Everything is looking up, of course, you can never be too sure, that’s why I came back to the matchmaker shop to ask her.

I figured if she had magic that could swap bodies, she should have some sort of magic to tell the future right? So I went and got my fortune told by here, and she told me she saw a beautiful pink-haired woman holding the cutest little pink-haired baby.

This made me so happy, sounds like my baby will look like me! I can’t wait to tell Curtis and see how jealous he gets. Although, if I make him jealous he might want to have more babies until one looks like him, but honestly that might not be so bad.
