What do you wish for: Iponderorb

Holding the ticket in their hands, Iponderorb closes their eyes, and begins to think about appearing before the genie. The number 76 appears on the ticket, and Iponderorb is instantly teleported in front of a genie.

“Hello and welcome customer number seventy-six. I’m the magical orb genie and today I’ll be granting you a wish! So what does your heart desire?” With that, the genie waits for you to speak your wish.

“I wish to be able to stop time.” The genie looks at Iponderorb. “That’s it?” “Yeah that's it, I'm a boring person.” Iponderorb chuckles a bit. “Oh, I wouldn’t say that. There’s a lot of fun that can be had when time is stopped… Not that I would know…”

The genie awkwardly smiles. “Well hold still, I’ll go grab an orb that’ll grant your wish.” The genie flies off and starts picking through some piles of orbs. After her tenth one, she seemingly found the one she was looking for.

She flies back to Iponderorb. “Here we go, a time-stopping orb, that may or may not have some side effects.” Iponderorb looks at the genie worried. “Oh no need to worry, they’re good side effects I promise.”

She places it in Iponderorb’s hands. “Now go ahead and swallow that, I promise it’ll taste good.” Iponderorb looked at the genie skeptical of what she was saying, but swallowed the orb anyway.

Suddenly they began shrinking down in height, followed by losing body mass. In an instant, they were tiny and slim. Then parts of their body started expanding. Their hips expanded out to the side, their butt go bigger, and finally, their breasts grew out.

Ipo now had the body of a petite girl. It wasn’t unpleasant, but confused her how this had anything to do with her wish. She looked at the genie and asked. “Oh, well no real reason, I just like making cute girls sometimes.”

Ipo rolled her eyes but then felt something appear in her hands. She looked down to see a stopwatch in her hands. It currently wasn’t working, so she began pressing the button on it. She then looked up at the genie.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure that’s just to tell you if time is moving. I think you can stop time using your mind. I think the reason you can’t tell yet is because time doesn’t actually exist in the realm of orbs.”

Ipo looked annoyed and attempted to put the pocket watch into her pocket, but now suddenly she was wearing a dress that didn’t have any. The genie starts to rub the back of her head. “Ah.. Like I said, I like making cute girls when I grant wishes.”

“I suppose you’re probably sick of me now. I’ll go ahead and send you back home so you can try your new power and have some fun.” The genie lifts her hand snaps her fingers and sends Ipo back home.

Ipo looks at the stopwatch and it seems to be working again. She closes her eyes and concentrates on stopping time. When she opened her eyes again, the pocket watch had stopped working.

It seemed to work, but obviously, an old pocket watch wasn’t enough proof her wish had come true. So she walked outside and looked out to the road, and sure enough everything around her was frozen.

Cars were sitting in the middle of the road, people were stopped on the sidewalk, birds floating in mid-air and even a man watering his grass with droplets of water floating around him. Time was definitely stopped.

There wasn’t so much as a sound to be heard. Right now the only thing moving and talking was her. She once again closed her eyes and concentrated on restarting time, and before she opened her eyes, she could hear the sounds of the world.

She opened them to see people going about their day as if nothing had happened. Ipo held the pocket watch and smiled. She got her wish, now all she had to do was find some creative ways to use it.
