The costume party: Naruko

Class 2-C of Schasonic High School were all talking after class one day about what costumes they were planning to make and wear. That’s when Alek suggested they throw a costume party and host it at his house.

Everyone agreed and went home that day to work on their costumes. Each one of them was excited about the party and thought hard about what costume would be best for them to show up in.

Zakhar was excited to finally get to wear the new Naruko costume he bought. It was a special edition costume sold by one of his favorite fan fiction manga artists. The issue this was from was when Naruko had a day off, so it was a more normal version of her normal uniform.

So it still had her signature orange, but it wasn’t as thick and didn't have so many ninja tools hidden in it. Basically, it was designed more for comfort than functionality, but overall super cute on Naruko in the manga.

Zakhar threw the costume on, attached a blonde wig with twin tail attachments, and used some makeup to draw lines on his face. Then he was off to the store to look for one last addition to his costume.

Arriving at the store, Zakhar went right to the back where they kept all the adorable plushies. Zakhar wanted to find a fox to carry around, they didn’t have a huge selection of foxes, so Zakhar picked the smallest one that way it was easy to carry around all night.

Once he paid for it, he made his way to the party. Alek let him in, complemented his outfit, and the two took a photo together since they both were dressed up as fan-made gender-bent characters, Zakhar being Naruko and Alek being Bowsette.

Some time later Mortiz approached Zakhar and with the two being crazed Marvel fans began talking about Mortiz’s amazing Iron Man suit. Zakhar didn’t recognize the design, so he asked Mortiz, who also had no idea.

The two pulled out their phone and were about to attempt to find out which one it was based on, but another classmate who had entered the main room and she started calling for everyone to pay attention to her.

Zakhar recognized the girl, it was Nadya. She was telling everyone she was a real witch and was preparing to cast a spell to make the party even better. Zakhar didn't think she was serious, as she was dressed as Maleficent, he thought she was roleplaying.

He was proved wrong very quickly as she actually shot magic from her hands that spread across the whole house. When the light disappeared and Zakhar was able to see again, she suddenly felt something squirming in her arms.

She looked down to see her stuffed fox moving on its own. It started growling a bit then jumped out of her hands and ran towards the door. Zakhar chased after it, and as the two ran past other guests they all seemed surprised that Zakhar's fox had come to life.

As Zakhar chased the fox, they got further and further away from the party. Zakhar finally managed to catch up to it and grab it. She turned him around and held him above her face as she inspected the little guy.

Zakhar couldn't believe that Nadya had used her magic to make him real, or that magic was real. The fox then started licking her face, causing her to fall backward onto her butt. She was also laughing because it tickled.

The fox ended up getting free, but instead of running off again, it sat by her feet. Zakhar smiled and stood back up. She looked around and was surprised that they were several blocks away from Alek’s house now, she could have sworn they had only run for a few minutes.

Zakhar and the fox started walking back towards the party since her car was still parked outside. As they were walking Zakhar watched the fox running around checking out all kinds of things, she figured it was exciting due to coming to life.

On their way, they passed by the shopping district which had a ton of stores with those big glass windows so people could see inside, and since the lights were off and it was nighttime, it was super easy for someone to see their reflections.

That was when Zakhar finally noticed that the fox wasn’t the only one affected by the magic. Zakhar looked more like Naruko than she did before, she even had bumps on her chest that were exactly like breasts.

She reached up to inspect them, and the second she did, she could feel herself touching them, which was strange as she didn’t have breasts right? After inspecting the other areas that expanded like her butt, and then checking her crotch, Zakhar was able to confirm she was a girl now.

Even the wig she had on was now her real hair. As Zakhar was messing around, she started to feel a weird sensation, almost like power inside her. Her eyes grew wide with excitement. Was she a real version of Naruko?

She began to move her hands, trying her best to mimic the hand signs the ninjas used, but more specifically the ones used for shadow clone jitsu. She wasn’t used to doing it, so she was a bit slow, but once she did the last one, a perfect clone of hers appeared.

It was so amazing, she couldn't believe she could use ninja arts now, she also couldn't believe how good she looked. Suddenly it hit her, no wonder she was able to get across town so quickly, she basically had superhuman speed.

Zakhar was going to go back to the party, but now she had a better idea, she told her little fox to jump onto her head. The fox made a little noise then jumped up onto her breasts and then up to her head.

Zakhar couldn't help but blush from the fox doing that, but the embarrassment vanished quickly and she was able to continue with her plan. She looked lover at her clone, stuck her tongue out, and closed one eye.

She turned her clone saying she was going to beat her home, then she started running and jumped up to the top of a building. From there she ran across rooftops until she finally arrived back at her house.

Seconds later her clone landed next to her, and Zakhar gloated about winning before poofing the clone away and walking inside. She sat on her couch and the fox cuddled up next to her and took a nap.

Over the next week, she studied the hand signs to learn them by heart and practiced using them so that she could them with muscle memory but also so she could do it as quickly as they did in the manga.

She was excited to return to school and show her friends her cool new abilities. Not all of them showed up, and those who did were either focused on their new bodies or looking for Nadya to change them back.

She was nowhere to be found, and many of her friends didn’t seem all that interested in her powers, as they were focused on themselves. So she went looking for new friends, which she found in the anime club. They immediately recognized her and invited her to join them.

Most days the other members would flock to her and complement her, and even be amazed when she used her powers. At first, it was a little creepy, but over time they all became really good friends, and after college, they started their own manga and comic series.

As one can imagine it was the Adventures of a Ninja girl named Naruko and her amazing sidekick and pet Kumi. The group worked really hard on it every day, each with their own part to play, and Zakhar’s being the model for the character and apprentice character designs.

After a couple of years, their work took off and their knock-off series became even more popular than the original. They're even getting an anime adaptation next year in which Zakhar will be voicing Naruko, and who knows there might even be a live-action adaption one day.

Until then, she and her team worked hard on the current issues, and when their not working Zakhar traveled around to conventions and other events to advertise their work and to sign autographs for all her amazing fans. Life is amazing for her, and her best friend Kumi, and she wouldn’t change a thing, even if Nadya suddenly reappeared and offered to change her back.
