Forever Tied: Peace In The New Kingdom (Com)

It’s been nearly two years since the battle with The Mad King and the Church of Helios. Princess Adelia, her wife Swetyne, their generals, Edracia, Pefsa, Liwet, Loren, Vellith, Rargy, and Bistro, and the soldiers of Tyert managed to put an end to their wicket plans for good.

In the months to come after the battle, the group worked daily to rebuild the kingdom. From cleansing bodies to burying and sending souls onto the afterlife, to rebuilding homes and other buildings and removing large rock chunks from the top of the cave that had broken.

It was a lot of work, especially with the toll the battle took on everyone. Only the soldiers from the kingdom had turned into Whild monsters, so once the area was safe most of the townspeople returned.

Although they weren't many, so Adelia got to work getting more people to move into the new kingdom to help it flourish, and being the kind warm-hearted princess she was, the kingdom went from a human-only one to a kingdom that welcomed and had every race living among it.

Over time there were thousands of citizens all living in peace together despite their differences, and their lives were great, there was only one thing they needed. A leader, and they only had two people in mind for the job.

Adelia and Swetyne were named the first queens of Second Chance a kingdom for all living creatures. Having spent nearly two years in the city helping rebuild it, the generals and her friends had also taken up positions in the kingdom.

Edracia had started her own church, in the name of Necrom, but had completely changed it. After using the full power of Necrom she learned how much the people of that type of necromancy suffer and was determined to find a way to set them free.

This led to her discovering the opposite side of necromancy. One where the people summoned were not bound and when the caster was done with them, they were immediately returned to rest and their souls returned to the afterlife.

Pefsa was still a shaman and potion crafter at heart, so she opened a medical potion shop called The Little Goblin. There she spent most of her days crafting charms and brewing potions that Adelia taught her.

She would also travel to the hospital that was built on days when someone would die. She would talk to the spirit and pass on any last words to their friends and family and then guide their spirit to the afterlife. 

Liwet, having become a fallen angel, but strangely hadn’t lost any of her holy powers. When she first saw her wings she thought she had been cut off from the heavens and was being punished for her deeds, but the more time that went on the more she released this was a reward from them.

She was free, no longer burdened by the heavens to protect anyone. They set her free so she could live any type of life she wanted. Liwet’s nature was to help people, and since she still had her healing ability she started the first hospital.

Edracia, Pefsa, and Liwet are a trio that loves each other in the strangest way. Despite there not being a war, the citizens would often find Edracia and Liwet arguing and fighting, and Pefsa trying to break up the fight only to end up in the middle, the strangely the three would disappear for hours.

Rargy and Bistro, are a connected couple. With Rargy’s strength and intimidation, and Bistro’s wisdom and power over the mind they were great candidates for the leader of the guards and lead detective. Together they were in charge of the kingdom's security.

Most people were too afraid of getting beat up by Rargy to commit crimes, and if they did and got away with it, they eventually found themselves talking to Bistro, whom they couldn’t hide anything from since she could use her power to read their minds.

Of course, the two of them are still connected and every day one of them gains control of the other, and for the most part of the day they don’t abuse that power, but once they’re back in their home alone, one of them is usually on the bed begging to be fucked in the most desperate way possible.

Since Bistro had taken another job, Vellith had been the only one capable of taking on the job of the court wizard and the keeper of the magic library. It was her job to archive all magic and teach it to those with an affinity for it.

It was during her initial archiving of the books and scrolls from the old kingdom that she stumbled upon notes about a Cambion. After reading through it she learned that it was her mother and she was still alive. 

Vellith had taken some time off to locate her and found her living in a small monster village in the west, and her father was with her. She brought them along with all the other monsters back to Second Chance to live better lives in safety.

Loren still enjoyed the thrill of battle and while the others were off doing things for the kingdom, she started taking on odd jobs, like hunting wild Whilg monsters, or monsters that had gone crazy, or even collecting things from outside the town and kingdom.

That turned out to be quite popular, and she quickly got overwhelmed with requests. So she ended up hiring some help, then eventually creating teams to go out without her and finally she ended up running her very own adventuring guild that accepted quests and gave them out to guild members.

Now she spends most of her time doing paperwork and training guild members, and she didn’t leave the kingdom all that much, but she was okay with that. As she sat at her desk she flipped something into the air over and over again.

When it landed in her hand it was revealed to be a beautiful golden ring with a bright red ruby in it. Having gotten Vellith's parents’s approval, she was planning to ask her hand in marriage and start a family with her.

As for the Queens, Adelia and Swetyne were mostly queens in name, as they had so many people working in the government that they managed to run everything without much input from them, they were merely there as a symbol of hope for people now.

Most days they would travel around the kingdom and help people with their daily tasks, or simply chat with them to check in on them. The young people in the kingdom were always begging Swetyne to practice training with them, as they looked up to her and wanted to be like her.

While she was off playing knight with them, Adelia was off with their parents or other adults teaching them the basics of creating potions and medicines she invented, as it was always her dream to make it available to everyone.

Every so often Swetyne would plan an escape plan for the two of them to sneak out of the kingdom. There were always new adventures waiting for them, some of which brought home even more unlikely friends.
