The Twelve Talisman: The Rat Talisman (Com)

Jackie Chan, Adventures, is an American animated television show that was popular in the early two thousands. Though it’s been two decades since the show ended, there is still a friend group that originally came together thanks to the show.

Even to this day, their friendship is strong and their love for the show is even stronger. So when Ryker was stumbling around an old antique shop and found a set of twelve talismans that looked identical to the ones from the first season he couldn't resist buying it.

There was only one set, and he wanted to share this amazing find with his friends, luckily there were twelve talismans and twelve of them. So he handed everyone a talisman to keep, that way they had something to always remember about the show.

What Ryker didn’t expect was for all the talismans to activate and shine brightly. One moment they were all in the same room, and the next they were teleported across the world, transformed, and given powers.

Kane opened her eyes and sat up. She was a bit confused, where was she? Looking around it looked like some sort of unfinished room with no windows or doors. In fact, it was so unfinished it only had two very long walls running parallel to each other.

It was also completely dirty, there were what looked like rats dropping everywhere and large clumps of insulation falling off the walls, with some of it even being piled up in what looked like a bed. Kane became shocked as he looked up at the walls.

The walls were huge. Like hundreds of feet tall, maybe even a thousand. Kane had never seen a wall so tall, but why was she? Where was this, how did she get here, and why did she feel so small and strange?

Surprisingly someone started to answer her questions. Someone behind her said she was inside a wall. Kane turned around to speak with them but then jumped backward when she found herself face-to-face with a giant rat.

The rat seemed upset, agreeing he was a bit fat but to call him giant was just unnecessarily rude. Kane couldn't get many words out because she was afraid, but she did manage to go from stuttering the words giant rat to talking rat.

The rat sighed and asked Kane if she was dropped on her head. He told her that he was indeed a larger rat talking to her, but that it shouldn't be surprising since they’re both rats. Kane finally stopped stuttering and looked at the rat confused.

She told him she wasn't a rat, to which he laughed at. He told Kane to look at herself and compare her body to his. Kane obliged him and looked down at herself. She was hoping to prove him wrong, but instead, she proved him right.

She was covered in grayish fur, had weird little rat hands with only four fingers, and a long tail, and now that she was focussing, she could see long whiskers coming off of her nose. Kane started to panic a bit, she was really a rat.

The rat she was talking to confirmed it, then followed it up by saying the only difference between them was he was bigger, but as he was a male that made sense. Kane asked him what he meant by that as she was a male as well, but that just caused the rat to laugh really hard.

He pointed at her chest, more specifically her nipples. He then pointed at his own and he didn't have any. He told Kane that only females have nipples, so since she had them, she was obviously a female rat.

Kane was completely freaked out now. How could she possibly be a rat now, never mind a female rat? Kane calmed down a bit and asked the male rat if he knew how she got there. He didn’t know much, but said she appeared out of thin air after a flash of light blinded him.

He also said he was glad she was here, as he was the only rat here and didn’t have a mate, but now with her here, the two of them could cuck and make a ton of babies. Kane could feel her stomach churn at the thought and told him there was no way she was making babies with him.

He grabbed her arms and told her not to worry, it would be fine, and she’d enjoy it. Kane pushed him back, which caused him to stumble backward. His tail had pressed on a mousetrap and set it off, getting him stuck, so Kane used that to run off.

She managed to find a hole she could squeeze out of. She was now inside a kitchen, and she was much more aware of her new tiny size. She had to get out of her and find a way to turn back to normal.

She scurried across the kitchen floor and made her way to the living room, which turned out to be a mistake. In the living room was a cat dangling its paw into the fish tank trying to catch a fish, but the second Kane stepped into the room, its head turned toward her.

Kane gulped and knew she was in danger. Kane turned around and started to run, and she heard the cat drop onto the floor. Before Kane could get back to the hole that she came out of, the cat managed to get in front of her.

So she had no choice but to run off, which left her at an extreme disadvantage. She didn’t know her new body very well, and she didn’t know this house at all, but the cat sure did. The cat chased her through several rooms and toyed with her by swatting her across the floor.

Luckily before that cat decided to harm her, she jumped into another small hole. It was deep enough so the cat couldn't reach her, but it also had no other exits and barely had enough room for her to turn around, so she was safe but cramped.

The cat didn’t stop trying to get her for about an hour. Kane poked her head out and looked for the cat, and she found it sitting on a desk in the room watching the hole. Luckily she knows cats pretty well and isn't dumb enough to fall for this.

So Kane waited in the hole, and eventually, hours passed. It was now very late at night and it seemed this cat wasn't going to leave her alone until it caught her. Then the cat turned towards the front door, and Kane heard it open.

The owner of the house was home, and the cat ran off to see them. Kane thought that this would be her chance to escape, but leaving the hole only led to more problems, as now the owner of the house had seen her and was chasing her with a broom.

Kane managed to find another hole to hide in. It was clearly too dangerous to leave again, plus she really didn’t have a plan. So she went and found some insulation to sleep in, she ended up having very strange dreams, something about a lot of cheese and that male rat form before.

When she woke up, almost thirteen hours had passed, as it was nearly noon. Kane checked out the area around the hole and the cat was nowhere to be seen, so she exited and slowly started to make her way back to the front door.

On her way there, a smell hit her nose, she turned her head and saw a beautiful chunk of cheese just sitting on the floor. She knew she shouldn’t go to it, but her stomach started to rumble and she wanted it so badly.

She ran over to it and started to nipple it, it was so tasty, but it was also a trap. Once Kane finished eating it, she tried to walk away but her feet were stuck to the floor. She looked down and saw her feet were stuck in one of those glue traps.

Kane began to panic, there was no way she could get out of this, and she would be helpless if the cat came in here. She tried so hard to get free but nothing was working. The only things around her were a pair of shoes, a ball, and a Superman action figure.

None of those would help her. Kane continued to try and break free, but her movements and noises finally attracted the cat, who was slowly getting closer to her. If something didn’t happen now, she's as good as dead.

Kane closed her eyes and started begging to be saved, that’s when the memories of getting the talisman came back to her. She had gotten the rat talisman from Ryker. That would explain why she was a rat girl now.

But it also might be the answer she needed to save herself. If the talisman was magical, then perhaps it also gave her the power it gave the characters in the show. The power of animation, if she had that power, she could use it on the Superman action figure.

She looked at the action figure and concentrated on it. Just as the cat was about to sick its shape fangs on Kane, the Superman doll came to life and flew at it. It grabbed the cat and dropped it into a trash can, then covered the can so it couldn’t get out.

It returned, and Kane asked it to free her. It nodded and looked down at the glue. It started to use its heat vision to heat up the glue until it was liquid. Kane quickly jumped out of it before it got too hot and burned her feet.

Now that the danger was gone, and she had a literal superman to help her it was time to get out of here… At least that is what she should have done. Instead, she decided to raid the fridge for all its cheese, after all, she could be stuck like this for a while, best to stock up.

After she had a bag of cheese, she had the Superman action figure pick her up and fly her out of the house through an open window. Now she soared through the sky as a tiny little rat on a plastic Superman, and despite it happening it was still hard for her to believe.

At least she was safe, although she wished she could make the Superman figure fly faster, but because of how the talisman power works, if it gets too hot it’ll melt since it's not the real Superman, but she was still going faster than if she was on foot.

Once it got really late, she found a spot to sleep for the night. Which was just unfortunately a sewer drain. Luckily she had a nice bit of cheese to snack on before falling asleep. Now she thought her dream the night before was weird, but as she slept a sheepwoman appeared to her.

The sheep woman said she was actually Josh, and that all of their fine group was transformed by the talisman, but not to worry, Tyson was going around to pick people up and bring them back to Ryker’s house.

She finished off by saying not to move and that Tyson would be there in an instant to grab her. Kane was then forced awake. Kane wasn't sure if any of that was real, but it wouldn’t hurt for her to wait for a bit to find out. So she sat there on the edge of the swerve drain eating cheese.

Sure enough, a Rabbit woman appeared. She reached her hand out and told Kane to climb up. Kane did so, then before Tyson ran off, she asked Kane if she wanted to take the Superman action figure as well.

Kane shook her head no, but pointed at the bag of cheese and ordered Superman to give it to Tyson, after which Kane released her control over it, returning it to a normal lifeless action figure. After that Tyson started running, which was so fast Kane couldn't even see anything.

Before she knew it, she was in Ryker’s house surrounded by sheep. Then the sheep woman from her dream came over and leaned down to talk to her. Josh told her if she relaxed, she’d transform into her main form, which would be a hybrid of human and rat.

Kane nodded and took several deep breaths. Then she started to grow, although it wasn’t much. Her main form was only about three and a half feet tall. She also didn’t get much in the realm of female proportions like some of the others.

She was flat-chested, had no butt or hips, and was wearing pretty lame clothes compared to them. She sighed and got over it, she was just happy to be human again. She got up with her bag of cheese and went and sat with others who were already back.

Ryker, Jonas, Mica, Josh, Tyson, and herself were already back. Appertyl Darco is a dragon and is on her way, but taking her time. As for the others, Josh is trying to communicate with them like she did with Kane to let them know Tyson is coming for them. Seven of them were almost here, only five more to go before they could figure out how to change back.
