As of now my Sony camera that I use to take photos and stream is basically broken and I only recently got it about 2 months ago so it should be working fine. But it’s not and I have to send it in to Sony to get it fixed and apparently it will take weeks
I’m so frustrated I don’t know what to do. Do I get a new camera while I wait or no??? I can’t just go out and get a second the camera was almost 1k I don’t know what to do I don’t wanna lose my twitch community I’m scared if I’m gone for too long people are gonna become uninterested

I appreciate it :’) I’m gonna see if I can try to find my old webcam if not I’ll buy a cheaper replacement camera if anything- as much as I’d like to say I can stream without a cam me myself I enjoy it more when I can see the streamers reaction and stuff and I only put out content that I would watch so I feel like it’s only fair I do so

Obviously that's still a lot of money (and the cameras are likely not great) but it would allow you to at least stream with a cam for the next couple weeks. Might also be good to have a cheaper backup camera for when you're in a pinch like this in the future

2023-05-08 21:41:54 +0000 UTCIf you’re really in a bind, Check out the app EpocCam it allows you to use your phone as a webcam source. Think it’s by Corsair, I think Elgato has something similar as well.
