2021-03-27 11:59:47 +0000 UTCI noticed a lot of manga readers are more excited not for the first arc of the season but for the arc right after it. The first arc of season 5 is 24 manga chapters long. For comparison, the Overhaul/Shie Haissakai arc was 41 chapters and that was adapted into 17 episodes (3eps at the end of S3 and the first 14eps of S4). So, we could expect about 10 episodes for S5’s first arc, give or take a couple episodes. Quote: “it's good, just some cool fights and a bit of character development and set up for a lot of future plot points but all the arcss after are better”

Someone on twitter also brought up how Hisoka vs Kastro was great in showing how tactical and brilliant Hisoka is. I added: And reflects Gon vs Genthru in some ways. Both sacrifice their arms as a show of power, shock their opponent with their willingness to go to such lengths, and win through a clever strategy, ending with a trap laid at their feet, i.e., the covered up boulder sized hole, and the “in” (=invisible) bungee gum connected cards.
