For the question of the Mabeasts... for the White Whale and the rabbits they told us that Daphne, the Witch of Gluttony, created them. Subaru asked her about how to deal with the rabbits in the first part of Season 2, if I remember correctly. I think it's heavily implied, if not spelled out that Daphne made all the mabeasts, but I am not 100% certain on that. That was what I walked away thinking, but I can't actually remember the details of that scene.

Also think the half-blood barrier at least suggests that Hector was/is half-blooded, otherwise the barrier wouldn't work & there would be no sense in it, but since we know almost nothing about him...keep watching & find out :D Roswaal is simply stuck in the past...he can't accept that Emilia & the others can truly change, even if it stares him in the face. The Great Rabbit is attracted by huge amounts of mana, so... big weather spell -> lots of mana -> attracting the rabbit hope you got some rest after that video & relaxed a bit from the OCD :)

In the previous loops - they said the great rabbit is attracted to large concentration of mana, so roswaal is making it snow to call the rabbits and kill everyone so he can prob force subaru to do a restart

For Roswaal it's basically a way to bring the world - as in the current timeline - to an end. Because if the Great Rabbit shows up and kills everyone then Subaru has no choice but to start over with a new timeline. Which Roswaal will keep forcing Subaru to do until he gets the timeline he wants according to his Tome that predicts the future.

To cover the whole Sanctuary in snow is a huge magical spell and takes a heap of mana (magical energy) to pull off. There's a magical beast that is attracted to strong mana - The Great Rabbit. Basically every time Roswaal cast this giant spell in the previous loops that's what caused the Great Rabbit to show up.

In the previous loops it started snowing in the Sanctuary out of nowhere a couple of times. The second time Subaru figured out it was Roswaal who was causing it. So this will be the third time that Roswaal makes it snow if Ram and Puck can't stop him.
