My family does the same thing. It doesn’t make it right and it pisses me off when they do that.

2021-06-02 19:56:42 +0000 UTCI think it was pretty clear that Gugu realised what he did to Fushi was wrong but he was too ashamed to admit it so he turned it back on Fushi by calling him an idiot for not standing up for himself. Which was probably good advice even if it wasn't delivered in the best way or for the right reason.

2021-06-02 15:23:21 +0000 UTCI actually liked that Gugu was shown to not be perfect in the way he treated Fushi. I also liked that he didn't apologise or at least could relate to it. Since we were kids my brother and I have had a lot of fights and name calling but never apologised to each other once as far as I can remember. We usually just don't speak to each other for a bit and then act like nothing happened.

He thought it was OK to experiment on Fushi without his consent, but got upset when the old man did the same thing to him. I can’t take credit for noticing this. Someone else pointed it out to me in the YouTube comments!

2021-06-02 05:12:01 +0000 UTCidk if this has anything to do with the reason that it isnt being shown. but it's hard to draw something so "ugly" that everyone has such strong reactions to without being a little insensitive to people who have actually had intense facial trauma of some sort.

I kind of understand from a point why Gugu hurt Fushi because he was introduced as an "immortal freak" and he was just curious about him. He's a child just as much as Fushi is and kids don't really think before they act. I would have been more okay (I guess???) if he asked Fushi if he could hurt him/experiment on him and gotten his consent rather than just doing it. But I'm not even sure Fushi would understand what that even meant. It was painful to see him so upset like when that one girl tried to kill herself, he wore the exact same face so we knew it was a big deal to him. Hoping the next episode is at least a bit happier than this one was.
