2021-06-13 18:06:12 +0000 UTCI think a very overlooked part of this episode was Bakugo helping Midorya train with Blackwhip. It’s a really short scene, but considering how the series started, that was a really big sign of character growth. I also really appreciated Todoroki asking about Midoryas new power, and Monoma trying to help Eri train her quirk. I like it when the show acknowledges that there are people outside of the main characters that can act do stuff. The fact that Bakugo asked about how king he has to wait to be a hero really shows where his priorities lie, and I thought the friendly banter between Bakugo and Todoroki at the end was a nice touch. I think the end scene where Bakugo says Satos cake is too big, then we see him eating it immediately afterwards was fun, and I also think it hinted at an appreciative person under Bakugos hardened exterior. To clarify, Monoma wasn’t saying Midorya stockpiles quirks, it stockpiles energy. One for all stockpiles energy, and it’s released in the form of “smashes”. Great reaction as always.
