It's not just knuckle. Killua's insecurities, Gon's childishness, youpi's simplicity ect ect. It a major theme playing out.

It's merely a deeply ingrained part of being a warrior. If you enter a battle with someone where the penalty for losing is death, there is VERY little that is more insulting than leaving your opponent apive despite the fact that they clearly lost. Death at the hands of a better warrior is far more preferable than being left alive, than feeling like you're not even worth the small effort to finish off. In other news, oh BOY I cannot wait for you to watch episode 119. Shit always gets me hyoed uo just thinking about it. Fucking love Killua.

2021-06-26 07:59:35 +0000 UTCRemember in Greed Island that they have shown that both Gon and Killua have a very high vertical jump (though it has been quite a while and basically never brought up again by the characters in conversation so I can't blame you). Not to mention that Youpi and Knuckle were inside a crater so that makes it much easier to just jump. But yeah good job realizing and remembering these past few reactions.
