I'll be honest, when I was watching mob and hearing the hype around it, I was a little let down. Its a great show, but I felt it was mostly overhyped. Then I watched this episode and I truly started to love it and appreciate all the emotion and character growth that has happened up until now. Personally still think the show doesnt quite match up to the hype, but it holds a special place for me.

2021-09-14 17:29:59 +0000 UTCThis season turned out totally different from what I expected so far. I guess I’m watching too much shonen lately so I was expecting something like the end of Season 1. In a way this is way better. Mob is already OP from episode 1 so there is no training to become more powerful like other anime. Mob characters grow however are beautiful to watch and he is so sweet you can’t help but root for him. Reigen was wrong in the last episode and now he admits he was wrong. So I guess I can forgive him now. That is why I can appreciate this episode more on the 2nd rewatch because I let go of prejudice and expectation and immerse myself in Reigen and Mob Stories.
