I love the President. For once we donβt have an asshole as the leader that does everything to impede the main cast like it happens so often in other shows. Victory at all cost is not always the best path.
I like that we did get to see a bit on the legion side. They are much more intelligent and organised than I first thought, So Kirin has someone higher than him that can order him to stop. I thought it was only 1 main character Kirin that just happened to control every Legions around him since he is the strongest but it seems they have more people and a chain of command.
Frederica flashback π. Frederica is really a star in this show. In the present I mean, when she hide inside Fido to make them come back π€.
Yes the fight was confusing at first since itβs in the dark and a lot happened but you seem to have it figured out. π
Giving the gun to Frederica and the way it was done I suspect has two goals. The main goal is what he said so she does not get taken by them, But I suspect that the secondary goal is shock value. To remind Frederica that this is real war in the front line life and death situation. She shouldn't put herself in this situation. It did shock her. Reality check you put yourself in a position where you could get taken by the legions now you have to deal with the consequence. But Frederica is such a strong character. After the initial shock she took it pretty well and told them now they have to go back to base.
For Kirin wanting to take everything away from Shin, my first thought is because Kirin lost everything he loves including Frederica so he wants to take everything from Shin also. He is mad so it made sense in his madness.
Great after show comment Lex, San Magnolia is the perfect example of what the President doesnβt want them to become. He rather died and bring down all his people that become a society like San Magnolia.
Cheers π

As a 40 year old dad to a 21 year old daughter... the issue is bad communication, bad behavior from the child, and bad parenting from the parent. Normally. Sometimes some kids are more of the issue than bad parenting, and sometimes it's the parents that are the issue. Often it's a combo.
Awake, I had a real bad relationship with my daughter from her late teens to 20s, but we did get it worked out eventually once we figured out how to just talk to eachother. That doesn't mean that's your solution to what's going on of course. I hope you get it worked out.
My daughter and I are on great terms now, and I have a grandson.

I only watch the intro π I don't get people sometime. Why ask if you're ok then start an argument when you're not π€. Family can sometimes be exaspering. Hang in there Lexie β₯οΈπ€
