2022-05-02 15:50:39 +0000 UTCthe first 50 episodes are known to be the worst parts of Gintama (the author didn't plan for it to be a long series so he just goofed off with the first part until the greedy adults at Shounen Jump pointed their gun at him, according to him) and if she enjoys it then the rest will be amazing.

2022-05-02 07:31:45 +0000 UTCif you enjoyed this first episode as much as you did, I think you'll genuinely love this show since it gets better as it goes on. some people miss the point of gintama but you seem to be able to grasp everything it throws at you. yeah, it's a comedy, but it's everything else just as much. it can make you laugh just as easily as it can make you smile or even cry. you'll understand the show more the more u watch. its so fun seeing people react to this first episode and state their predictions LOL. yeah I think you're in for one hell of a ride lmao. also, Gin is pronounced with a hard G like in green. great reaction.

Well Iβm sure you figured it out by the end of the episode. There is are lot of asshole in this show π Amanto is just anyone not human or Everyone Alien. Real Swords are banned in this world. So he has a wooden sword. Yay you seem to like the humor in Gintama. π Running a Dojo with a sword ban is not working very well. Itβs sad actually. Their father left them only with debt and a dojo nobody wanted to go to because of the sword ban. So she is willing to sacrifice herself to save the Dojo. Shin saying I donβt want to die with only grand principle on my name π₯Ί His sister all doing it for the memory of her father. But Shin sees it as bringing absolutely nothing, only principles that are not even his own. π© On the other hand. His father said that the sword lives inside your soul. You donβt have to keep the Dojo. There are no students and no teaching. You can still live by the principle that your father left you. They said he was kind and helpful. The sister views the dojo as his legacy but he said the sword lives inside you. Iβm more of the opinion of letting go of the external Dojo and keep the spirit and teaching of their father inside. Yep, the car cop is part of his plan. π Prime time π 4th wall breaking at itβs best ,π€£ Ok itβs starting really well. As I expected, I have much more fun watching it with you than on my own. I think we will have fun with Gintama. Take Care. π

Western colonisers (the aliens) had their brutal conquests on Japan and nearly wiped out their culture as well as ending the history of samurai with their advanced guns and cannons. Banning samurai is a decision by the new emperor of Japan at the time in order to force his people to give up their sword and martial arts cultures and embrace the weapon and technological advancements in order to catch up with the west. Unfortunately, the emperor was so much of a fan boy that he even copied the barbaric warmonger culture and resulted in Japan's many monstrous crimes in the 1900s
