Thank you! Yeah I think the safety thing is the most plausible. I wonder if they’ll address it more from now on. Like give us a backstory or something showing a situation when she decided to pretend to be a boy. Like did something happen?

You mentioned safety, and I'm pretty sure that's the reason why Dororo pretends to be a boy. Good reaction as always
