2019-09-28 10:50:22 +0000 UTCI totally get that you can't bring yourself to support Ainz' war against the Lizardmen; it's a power move to get more resources, territory & bodies for stronger undead, so overall: gain power to use against whoever was strong enough to control Shalltear, because rightnow that unknown force seems to be the only one who's able to threaten Nazarick. How I understand that "fight each other" and "sacrifice them if necessary": If ALL lizardmen run away, there's not enough food for everyone --> another tribe war If only SOME tribes run away and the ones who fight loose ---> they are weakened when trying to rebuild, because the others are still in full strenght --> get overpowered in a struggle for resources. If they ALL fight and loose --> there are less people to feed, + all tribes are equally weakened, so the risk of a new war is reduced. In other words: if a tribe doesn't join forces, they have to take them out, so they don't take advantage of the other tribes' defeat afterwards.

2019-09-25 04:50:43 +0000 UTCI could be wrong, but I think the different number of Lizard Men from different demographics are to escape and rebuild their tribe, while the rest are sacrificed in a loosing battle. The Traveler is to use a set number to negotiate with other tribes about how many people are allowed to escape. The subjects providing scroll material in Demiurge's Happy Farm are not killed at first. They get healed with magic so they can be skinned again and again. There are also experiments on attaching limbs and torsos from different species, and inter-species breeding. The light novel implied it like a fantasy version of the Imperial Japanese concentration camp.

If you're under the limit at first and you edit it and then go over the limit it disappears. So it turns out it isn't Patreon's fault, I just talk too much.

The situation he's talking about with them having to die is what they discussed where one tribe tries to run off and establish dominance in a new land ahead of the others. She was asking that if they did end up having to fight against each other rather than together, how many of their own would the opposing side allow to live as refugees after they've won the inter-tribe battle. That's what those numbers were. You can pronounce Cocytus however you want. It's pronounced differently depending on your language anyways. Like how they pronounce Clementine as Clementeen. The way you're saying it is one of the valid ways to say it. Glad you're enjoying the lizardman arc. Most people find it droll but I had a feeling you would like the down to earth sympathetic elements to it. In some ways, the lizardmen act more human than a lot of the humans do.
