Well Eri being unconscious is part of it, but like Aizawa said Eri's quirk is kinda unpredictable since she has no controll over it. If she uses to much of it at once she maybe could rewind so much time that a Person maybe even vanishes in seconds. So if a live depends on it she maybe wouldn't even be able to use her quirk or uses to much because of the pressure that someone could live or die.

yeah, would have been strategically very useful...just seems to me that, ultimately, their philosophies/goals are to different for a sucessfull cooperation in the long run.
As far as I understand Shigaraki so far, he only uses Stain's philosophy and so on as a front to lure Stain-fans into his league of villains, like Spinner...couldn't make out a definitive reason for him to go after the heros except "if I get rid of them, I can do whatever the hell I want without someone stopping me" (correct me if I'm wrong)
Even if he somehow managed to recruit him, I guess Overhaul would try to get Eri back & put his plans back on track/ devise a new plan of his own sooner or later.

Here I thought Shigaraki grew up, guess he's still a man child going after petty revenges..Imagine he saved Overhaul and got him to join the League of Villains, he could even get Overhaul to fix Compress's arm

Good point. Hmm. Idk. Maybe it could be the fact that chisaki lost his quirk that ultimately saves him? But then again, it’s not a human sacrifice. Like not a life for a life. Idk. Maybe this one life was enough to save him. Then again, that is probably just me being idealistic. Man oh man. Now I’m really worried

In that case, about your theory on how the future can change only if there are sacrifices or balances, I think Nighteye was the sacrifice to Midoriya’s future since he had foreseen his death last episode but obviously that didn’t happen. I’m just wondering who will be All Might’s sacrifice or if he actually might die in the future.

The reason why they didn’t have Eri use her power on Nighteye is because right after the fight Eri passed out so even if they tried, I don’t think Eri would’ve been conscious for her to heal him, let alone be able to activate her quirk since she doesn’t have control over any aspect of her power.
