Yes your right that Gerheade is (racist) but you will understand why in season 3 so I won’t say more. Also I know you’ll have your knifes ready to kill Gowther. I don’t want to say more as that would lead to spoilers but there will be some very sad episodes for you.

"They're fucked" - yup, adequate assessment of the situation 😅 EDIT: to be honest, I wouldn't have noticed any lag at all if you hadn't mentioned it, sooooo...not too bad?

There is no given explanation for that in the anime or manga so any similarity between them is almost certainly just a case of the writer/artist re-purposing a good design that they already had for use in a new character. All the Sins had wanted posters that didn't actually look like them (besides King's 'fat' form).
