Lelouch is an extremely flawed person who has the conviction to force himself to be Zero a cold calculating bastard who is only looking towards the goal. I mean I don't think you caught it but that landslide caught an entire town btw a town most likely populated by the Japanese... Lelouch is not a good person because he decided not to be for the sake of the world... That is his ultimate sacrifice and the thing that got him "killed". (I do believe Lelouch survived R2 tho). Point is Lelouch knows what he is doing is wrong yet he chooses to ignore it because crying about it won't bring results. you said he is loosing his humanity no he is sacrificing it. I actually talked about these more in the comments of the google version.
