FYI Gowther doesn't "have" Diane's memories. He erased them, or tried to and thought he did at least. It's not like he has a flash drive with a copy that he can just give her.

no problem, that's exactly what I meant 😅
The comment wasn't aimed at someone in particular, just in general because the conversation started seeming a bit...agressive?
Just don't like it when people get angry at each other over things that should be entertainment...I mean, animes are great and even manage to make me cry sometimes, but...it's not the hill I'm going to die on; as a famous princess once said: "let it go, let it gooooo" 😆

Really? Stay civil? Ur the one who started by saying I “incredibly pissed you off.” That’s staying civil? That’s not getting emotional? 😒
EDIT: omg!! I thought you were the other person!!! I’m so sorry! That reply wasn’t meant for you randoras!! 🥺 sorry about that!!

hey, no offense, but...can't we just stay civil and avoid getting too emotional?
To think staying cool and staying back if you think you can't do anything is just as valid as rushing in with "don't know it until you try"
I'd go with the former, but I'm more of a head-person...soooo...let's just agree to disagree?

Okay I’m just going to respond to all of your comments here cus they’re pretty much all the same; I don’t take back what I said. If I was in her position, I would have run to the body, not walked. Dread or not I would have wanted to get there sooner to try something to heal them. I know she wouldn’t have been able to help him. I GET THAT. He’s already dead and she can’t really fight so she would have been dead weight. I don’t care though. I wouldn’t be able to just sit there and watch the man I love die just because I know I can’t fight and I don’t have a chance. I don’t know if I would be able to live with myself knowing I didn’t even try. That’s where I am coming from. She doesn’t even know the extent of her powers either, so if I was her, I would have tried at least SOMETHING. You know? Like anything at all. I would be thinking, “Hey, maybe I’m capable of bringing him back and I just don’t know how. Let me just try and release a huge amount of my power or something. I have to try!!!!!” That’s why I was upset at her. Because if I was in her position, I would have tried to fight (knowing full well I’m probably going to lose), I would have run faster, and tried something to bring them back. I wouldn’t quit until knowing I’ve done or tried everything I could. But hey, that’s just me.

The others already said it but it didn't matter if she ran to him or not her healing ability isn't powerful enough to bring the dead back to life and as far as I know it never will be and I'm kept up with s3

The moment you started talking crap about Elizabeth just incredibly pissed me off. All that you said is completely unreasonable. It is so unfair to Elizabeth that I cannot stand it. The reasons have already been expressed by one person above me. The only thing about walking things. You should not talk about people badly if they act a little differently than you. Elizabeth knew that Meliodas was dead, so running around would not help in any way. Yes, and most likely she didn’t really want to see Meliodas’s bruised body near (I would not want to). Just until you see with your own eyes, there remains little hope that he is actually still alive (although I immediately say no, he could not survive, he did not show something that allowed him to survive, even with destroyed hearts) Yes, it may be dumb, but these are people. Is Elizabeth to blame for this? Probably not.

She also didn't know exactly where the body was. So she could have ran in a random direction and took longer to find him. But I see your point, once she did see the body she kind of stared for a bit. But she already knew ahead of time saving him was impossible since she can't bring the dead back.

To see it from her shoes, it's like you just saw someone get shot in the head and are now looking for the body. There's no point in running because they're definitely dead, and you'd probably walk because you dread actually finding and seeing them like that. She knew she was going to find him stabbed to death and was struggling to face it.

How I understood her "casual stroll" was her being in shock, but maybe that's just how I explained it to myself...her healing & Ban's blood only work on people who are still alive, not after they're already dead; otherwise they would have tried that on Elaine as well
gotta hand it to the Ten Commandments; having the people hunt down holy knights & making them fight the only ones who may be able to help them is a smart move, fucked up or not.
On the subject of "can't kill the main character" I'm kind of undecided...I mean, on one hand, I think it's more exciting to have actual stakes in the fight...sometimes I even am more excited for fights between side-characters, precisely because the show CAN continue after they die, which makes it a real possibility and raises the tension...on the other hand yes, if Meliodas died (or Tanya in "Saga of Tanya the evil" or Lelouche in "Code Geass") the show wouldn't be the same...Game of Thrones somehow pulled it off in my opinion, but I can't even say how...maybe because the focus was split between a lot of plot threads & characters? because they killed a "main character" early on and established that noone is save?

Anime didn't mention it but after the scene with Elizabeth and Meliodas on the battlefield, there was a month time skip.

Kaji Yuki pretty much voices every protagonist ever in an anime. Top-level voice actor.

Melodias shares the same voice actor as Eren from AoT and Todoroki from MHA if you’re still wondering about that.

BTW... If Elizabeth had showed up to heal him any earlier she would have just been killed. So she went at the perfect time which is right when they left. And even if they decided not to kill her, they wouldn't have let her go near him to heal him.

The reason Estarossa was crying is due to his commandment, which is Love. No matter what he does, he must have love in him so killing his oldest brother, seeing what his brother had done and all the feelings of hatred he had, would turn his commandment on himself. So that hatred he turns in to love. So he is not showing the rage that others would of felt but was showing love.
