@Andre definitely worth checking out, but as Jack said, it's AU to the series. While the three "recap" movies do tell the story of the Rebellion all the way through the end of R2, enough is changed to make it clear that it's AU, not a recap of the series. The fourth movie is a sequel to THAT universe, not the series. I guarantee at least some confusion if you try to watch the fourth movie on its own.

The movies are still good they just were not financially successful I think literally every one of the movies lost money

Yes the Akito movies are actually in the same universe server interviews with the corrector conformed it, it takes place between R1 and R2 but the officials recap move and The R3 movies technically take place in a alt universe and the creator of code guess stated such. That is why the movies were not as successful as thought because that fact that it was a alt universe was not stated well and confused people. The recap movies and the final one are technically not cannon.

"ending", isnt there a season 3 in movie form. I wont say the movie name cuz its a spoiler. But they did make 4 movies. 3 movies serving as recaps and the last movie (4) serving as an actual sequel to the anime.

I have a theory about why that Baron called Lelouch "Your Highness" and that goes for his counterpart from s1 e1 as well. It's not about the power of Geass. It's about Lelouch saying his real name. That Baron knew Lelouch as Lelouch Lamperouge not as Lelouch vi Britannia of the royal family. When Lelouch said his real name they understood that he is the banished prince who was presumed dead. That's why they called him " Your Highness".

Will say now that there's a ton of confusing stuff at the beginning and you'll just have to watch the next several episodes to get answers but I know you'll definitely get clarification for your questions

Dope reaction as always! To be honest I feel like people shouldn't tell you that much about the show, I know they want you to be prepared, but its kind of like setting your expectations to be ready for something to happen. In my opinion its better to go into each episode blind without expecting anything. π

Lots of questions to be answered and new characters this season, can't wait :). This episode might just be a setup, but it showed us the result of fighting an empire with bottomless reinforcements while your commander went missing... The reason for Suzaku is working with the emperor won't be fully answered until later this season.
