Actually, it would be doable if it was one of the CONDITIONS to participate in the game to begin with, and anyone who accepts the game, accepts this consequence if they are found out to have cheated with magic. The Pledges ONLY protect against anything not caused by the Pledges; if you bet yourself as a bet, then you are categorized under "property" of whoever wins, and obviously the owner of "property" can dispose of it in any way they feel like, be it torturing the "property" to death, or w/e. The same way how the Pledges don't actually protect you from ACCIDENTAL deaths, like getting stampede'd to death by a berserking cattle horde. Basically the Pledges scan ALL OF YOUR THOUGHTS in real-time, meaning you are "physically" prevented from doing ANYTHING that would violate them, so if you even instinctively think of attacking someone, the Pledges would cancel out the impulses in charge of giving you that command via the nervous system, so the outcome never happens to begin with, as the moment it's even "thought" of (subconsciously or consciously), it gets cancelled out by the Pledges themselves

Guilty pleasure show for me is Fairy Tail. I'm sick of the friendship trumps all kind of trope but I enjoy the magic and characters in Fairy Tail.

Oh, and "guilty pleasure"...hm...I'd say Shinchou Yuusha; the paranoid OP-hero joke gets old after a while, but somehow I just love how it shits on the anime-MCs that win with nothing but will & pushing through until they get rewarded with some sudden power-up...can you love an anime out of spite? ^^'
Thats because a New Studio worked for HighSchoolDxD Season 4, since the other Studio screwed up highly on Season 3 after they changed so many Things without asking the Author of the Light Novels first.

highschool dxd is definitely my guilty pleasure anime but they screwed up season 4 with the new animation style
Lelouch

Lelouch vs Shiro... To use another anime you recently reacted to, Shiro could win the victory, but Lelouch would use it better. I liken Shiro with an Artificial Intelligence and Lelouch with a Napoleon/Che Guevara character. Shiro undoubtedly would beat Lelouch 1v1 in a fair match, however I doubt Lelouch would ever allow himself to be put in a position to lose. Love the idea of them having a chess match though. Guilty pleasure anime... Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid. I don't really care for Moe anime generally but this one was golden and it is really hard not to smile while watching. It is a japanese anime so, you know, weird things are in there but overall, one of my favorites.

further evidence: classic knight's stories/ fairy tales
the knight saves the damsel in distress from a dragon
snowwhite
sleeping beauty
Princess Jasmine in Aladin
always the hero goes to save/get the girl, don't think they would've been so enthusiastic about saving a farmboy :P

The great thing about this game is that even though it's very comedic it has a lot of very true things about historical warfare. When he says that the one true thing that inspires men is cuteness, he's really not wrong. A knight's code of chivalry revolves around defending the innocent, specifically innocent pure-hearted ladies. In many kingdoms, noble princesses who were just figureheads inspired soldiers much more than monarchs who actually managed things well. At the end of the day, most men love the idea of fighting and dying to protect the innocence of a beautiful woman, lol. This is also shown when the knight couldn't slay his own queen, and started breaking down crying when he was ordered to.

Yup, Imanity are pretty much the underdogs in this world.
However, your proposal of having anyone capable of using magic caught in the tournament be executed would violate the pledges:
1. All murder, war, and robbery is forbidden in this world.
2. All conflict in this world will be resolved through games.
3. In games, each player will bet something that they agree is of equal value.
So to pull that off, they would have to challenge the elf to a game over her life and bet something both agree to be of equal value and win, otherwise they can't do it.

sleeping cat!? ok, no one moves! :P
not blaming you; money "shouldn't be important", but goodwill alone doesn't pay your bills...just like people don't donate money if they struggle themselves, can't expect you to work for free and be fine with it, it sums up over several videos.
There are lots of gaming & anime-references in this show, like the "OBJECTION"-part, on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, love it^^
In the chess game KuramΔ« just put in the "free will"-rule to cover up her cheats, but didn't specify (or think of) the implications, like conciousness & the possibility of rebellion π

To be fair, some people actually do have perfect memory. She also pointed out that the written language was phonetic which would be much easier to learn because they already knew the spoken language. She also already knew several other languages and once you learn that many you start to realize how all languages are actually very similar at their fundamental level. Pretty crazy for an 11 year old, lol, but it's not really impossible for a human with incredible memory and extreme knowledge in linguistics.

Shiro would win because she knows every possibility of chess movements like a computer. Lelouch might beat her if he figures out her psychology and makes irrational moves. In episode one Shiro was stumped because "god" blocked his own chess movement, so Sora said they were playing against a human, not a computer.
Unless those giant chess pieces are meant to switch teams, changing colors is enough proof that someone's cheating. You don't have to prove how they are cheating. It's also bullshit how they let the Elf run away. If the humans don't know if magic is being used, anyone capable of using magic caught in the tournament should be executed. Chlammy claims she doesn't know her, so she should have no problem with that, right? This whole world is set up to have Imanity fail. Everything is decided by games and they are the only race that cannot tell if someone is cheating with magic.

Mega is fine the only problem is when the file is too big, you're using massive bitrates for your videos, you could probably cut that in half no problem, or change the encode settings on OBS to higher quality if you actually notice a difference.

Well you're kinda right about Sora , he is a strategist , but Shiro isn't normal , her intelligence is inhuman, and we know why , but it's a spoiler so I'm not gonna write it down

Not really impossible some people have perfect memory thats what Shiro is and Sora is more of a street smart type strategist genius.
2020-03-28 01:53:47 +0000 UTC
Also, about the genius thing. Lelouch's genius is a bit more realistic. Shiro and Sora are inhumanly genius. Perfect memory, able to learn a language in less than a day, stuff that's impossible for humans in real life.

There was a JoJo reference in episode 1 as well. Dio's wry.
