To answer your question of why does tet want to play a game with them and stuff you should watch the no game no life movie. It takes place in the distant past where shiro and sora aren't born yet so there aren't any spoilers for the actual anime you are watching.

In fairness, "being bored" is probably the most realistic reason for an Omnipotent god to do ANYTHING, rly, since well, they are Omnipotent, so there ain't much other reasons that could truly move someone who can do literally anything they feel like.

New intro?
Bonus points if you add a sofa & wooden pipe in front of a fireplace-GIF next time π€£
To be honest, it's my favourite episode.
They don't tell the crowd that they are the best & the strongest; they tell them to accept themselves & their own weakness as they are, to be proud of what they're good at and win their way instead of trying to fight the other races on their terms & overpower them.

I mean, Tet has...well...eternity on his hands; that's a lot of time.
Some people are already bored to death after 1 afternoon XP

Yup. You'd think a God would have some great reason or noble cause behind his actions but nope, my guy here is just very bored.
