Added 2020-04-21 16:23:43 +0000 UTCI just wanted to let you know, that I would like to try reacting to the next episode of death note in the dub (ep 4). It is for a couple of reasons.
1. I would like to try it out because a lot of people have been recommending it to me!
2. I did some research on YouTube, (AKA checking out other reactors’ death note reactions; don’t worry, I only looked at reactions of episodes I’ve seen so far) and it seems that people have less copyright issues when they react to the dub. I think this is the case because I’ve seen a lot more dub than sub reactions.
This could be pure coincidence, but it seems to me that the reason I’m seeing less sub than dub reactions is because the sub reactions are getting blocked more heavily. So, I would like to test this out. If it turns out that there is no difference, and they block them both the same, I’ll just keep doing subs. If it turns out that the dubs are not blocked as much/it’s less severe, then would you mind if I switched to dubs?

I used to be a purist about subs when I started, but now I enjoy watching a show on my 2nd monitor while I game on the 1st. Easier to not lose track with dub.

2020-04-21 22:20:40 +0000 UTCYeah the dub is ok, there are some scenes that are spookier w sub for sure, I see other reactors reacting less intensely at certain scenes due to the dub, but I guess if u have problems with the sub, we wouldn't really mind, the dub delivers the information quite well, maybe not as well for the "emotion" aspect in my opinion.

2020-04-21 16:25:58 +0000 UTCI think that sub is way better than dub but I've heard good things about deathnote. It's probably easier for you in terms of less chance of getting blocked. You might prefer the dub anyway.
