And one who just so happens to have made the "half your life for Shinigami-eyes"-deal before we even knew he existed at that.

And yes, she's the girl in the intro, both the blue-haired one with the yellow eyes and the darker-haired one in the rain later on. The difference in the colors is due to one of the shots being more stylized. Keep in mind that there's parts of the intro where Light and L appear with red and blue hair, as they do sometimes in the show during introspective bits. You can tell it's her based on the hair style and the outfits, even though she's shown with two outfits that are slightly different. The hair style is pigtails/twintails with hair left out framing the sides of her face. She'll sometimes have a different hairstyle, but that's her iconic one. Her iconic outfit is a tank top, a miniskirt, and leggings, with a choker and a necklace with a crucifix. The blue-haired girl, you can see the tank top, the necklace, and the choker on. The girl later in the intro is wearing a jacket, but still has the same hairstyle, the choker, and the necklace. Also, the red eyes is another stylization thing. They're not actually visibly red in the "real" world, they're just (sometimes) shown as red as an indicator to the audience that she has the Shinigami Eyes. As for her personality, well, we don't know much about her, except that she was willing to kill a bunch of innocent people just for the chance to meet Kira. That should be an interesting meeting.
