I don’t think the demons have no respect for life. I honestly think it depends on the demon. I mean look at meliodas.

2020-07-07 18:37:41 +0000 UTCI think people are too hard on Ludociel. From a human perspective, who cares what his intentions are, the common enemy is the demon clan. Ludociel and the archangels aren't the ones actively trying to eradicate the human clan or turn them into food

Sure they are subjective, arrogant, and oppressive, but they value order and harmony. Unlike the demon clan, who has no respect for any life and would slaughter however much for their own gains. I guess it depends on what you prefer.
